Phoenix of Ascending [RiSe] was born of the ashes of the guild known as The Legend of Pi, famous for their pioneering Hall of Heroes ranger spike build. The new guild contains original and founding members of the old Pi who have all been playing together since the early days of the game's release and maintain strong friendships in and out of game as well as playing other games such as Neverwinter Nights, Diablo and Starcraft together. RiSe plans to help each other as a guild complete various titles and goals. Wanting to break away from the tappings of the old name, the guild chose to start fresh, and chose the emblem of the firery phoenix to represent their growth as players.
Initially we planned to take RiSe over into GW2, but we have chosen not to participate in GW2 due to the state of GW1. As a guild we will complete various game goals for each other until the release of Diablo 3 and mainly Starcraft 2. We plan to carry over as either RiSe or Pi in full force as a Starcraft based guild.
Currently, we can be found regularly in Hall of Heroes. We have recently become known for "Ganking Blue" when we recently Ganked Red Chamalee on an alter map.
