History of SoR
The Guild was founded by Raven Heartstealer on the 9th of September 2005. Since that time real life friends were invited, along with people encountered in game. Those loyal members that are still with us, have played with each other for a long time. Due to real life issues, there was a half year of inactivity which ended with the coming of Factions. Some new members came to our guild and eventually became friends. With the coming of Factions we aligned with the Luxon side, joining KoK in an alliance. At this time SoR was more active and this lead into the Guild leaving the alliance, becoming independant. Early in 2007 we joined the KoDR alliance, through the recommendation by a former SoR member, and still a friend, in that guild. Since then there has been a lot more activity because of the good relationship between the alliance members. As the alliance grew, so did we. Now all there has to happen is for the older members to return, so they can play together again.
A New Era
Due to inactivity by Raven Heartstealer guild leadership is now held by Lenwe Carnesir as of the 27th of March 2008. SoR is now hoping to breath new life into an almost dead guild, our plan is to search for new members and become more active in alliance PvE/P battles.
Values
The guild is a mostly PvE guild but also plays in PvP when there is a feel for it. There is much experience amongst the members with the missions, and some PvP too. Our goals are usually to have fun, play together and have a good time, along with personal goal in the form of titles. Anyone is free to do what they like, yet helping each other usually goes above personal goals, and when that's not the case in the guild people allways can find help within the alliance.
Recruitment
If you are looking to join us, we usually accept anyone, yet playing together for a while and getting to know each other beforehand is recommended. There is no need for a lvl 20 character nor some kind of PvP title, we can and will help you along where you want.
We don't have any specific rules, but you are expected to be friendly and respectful towards fellow members. Also we usually don't try to make money from each other, and give each other the equipment they need, but again with respect towards what the other needs, rather than what you need. The alliance has some rules along these lines along with no trade related chat on the alliance channel.

Inactive Members
Inactive members will be removed from the guild after 6 months, this is so the guild roster doesn't become out of control with inactive members. If you are a former member of SoR and are returning to Guild Wars after a break longer than 6 months SoR will be glad to reinvite you.
