UTA's original members were part of a squad (Untouchables) that played Novalogics Black Hawk Down. Sadly the game suffered badly with in game cheats that made it almost unplayable and drove us to give other games a look. Well Obviously Guild Wars was a instant hit although the game genre was quite different. The guild formed in late 2006 but because of a dispute between one of its members and the rest of the guild we needed to rename the guild whilst keeping the UTA tags. United Tyrian Avengers was born. Our mascot the Phoenix which we wear on our cape represents the new guild rising from the ashes of not only the old squad in Black Hawk Down but also the untouchables guild.

What are we about? well as you would expect! FUN! there is no point playing if it isn't fun. Sure it's great if titles or goals are achieved but ultimately it's all about the fun. We are very welcoming to new players to Guild Wars and like nothing more than to assist a novice player become more acomplished and confident in their abilities. It's a great feeling when a guildy announces "This is the best guild ever!" which although i'm biased, is a statement i'm in total agreement with! **Animal Uta /goteam**

UTA rules of conduct which are also posted on the UTA forums.

1. Show common courtesy

2. Be willing to help other members of the guild

3. Let us know if you are going to be away for any length of time.

4. Do not ask us for money

5. Avoid making racist or homophobic comments on guild chat

6. Watch your language - the occasional swear word when something bad has happened is permissable, anything more is not.

UTA are currently accepting any members from any particular style of Guild Wars, see below for contact information.

Inactivity

Any members that are inactive for longer than 6 months without approval of guild leader and/or officer will be kicked. Of course should that member become active again and wish to rejoin then we will be delighted to have them back. This rule will change once Guild Wars 2 arrives, a member will have to be inactive from both games for a period of 6 months before being kicked.
