Truly Evil [TE] was founded on November 26, 2006 by Darius Shalnin and Lord Vladislaus. [TE] is dedicated to fun, friendship, and respect for our guild members, alliance members, and for all players in the Guild Wars environment. We were members of the Order Of Collateral Damage [OCD]. Our alliance enjoys participation in a number of schedulded alliance activities including vanquishing, dungeons, and the elite and competitive missions, especially Altrumn Ruins for additional Kurzick faction. Our active user base means assistance or advice is readily available.

The guild name and tag are a tongue-in-cheek comment on the duality of the world around us, including the virtual world of Guild Wars. We want to be sure the 'monsters' of Guild Wars think of us as truly evil as we cut through them again and again, but we want our fellow gamers to see us embody the idea of 'te' (pronounced day) which roughly translates to virtue, inner strength, and in a more archaic sense, internal divine power.

Recruitment

[TE] is recruiting a friendly, active team of PvE’ers of all ages from any and all of the Guild Wars campaigns for grouping in all aspects of PvE play, building the bonds of trust from working together to conquer missions, quests, and the more advanced areas of the various campaigns as we work to fill our Halls of Monuments for Guild Wars 2. How's that for a mission statement! Our alliance members range in age from the minimum allowed to their 60's or 70's, so everyone should feel at home.

Most of us had had some experience with PvP as well, so a core group of players there would be a welcome addition to our guild leader who would love to get his bambi.

And let's not forget the unique environment of presearing Ascalon! We have several guild and alliance members active in presearing, so we welcome players with interests in LDoA or just relaxing in pre!

All we ask of our members is that you be respectful of your fellow players in chat and on the voice client if you join there. As we're rebuilding, new members who bring in new recruits will be considered to be promoted to an officer so we can keep growing.
