History
Warband Of Champions was created on January 9th 2009 by two previous [Hat] members due to upper management issues. Initially, the guild was planned to use the name "Warband Of Heroes", however that was already in use.
Warband Of Champions is primarily a group of friends from previous guilds, but plans major expansion after the release of Guild Wars 2.
PvP Activities
The main PvP activity that this guild harnesses is Alliance Battles, under the allegiance of the Kurzick Flag. Multiple coordinated teams of four are planned to be created in such a manner where the groups are capable of "capping" or defending in varying situations. We do plan to have a relatively stable faction expectation of at least 300,000. It has not yet been decided whether or not each member must make daily contributions.
We are seeking an alliance interested in maintaining a decent allied faction balance.
Aside from AB, GvG IS a possibility for the future, if interest is recognized.
PvE Activities
Although most members and future members have already completed a majority of the PvE campaigns, there are some possible events that could be planned. A definite event that is being looked into is Urgoz's Warren, or "UW"
Other possible events include:
- Mission completion as it is required
- Hardmode vanquishing
- SS/LB Hardmode title point farming
- Sorrow's Furnace
- The Underworld
- Tomb of the Primeval Kings ("Tombs", P/B,MM, Orders, Monk way)
- Cathedral of Flames
That is merely a list of a few possible events, others could be organized by member request.
Recruitment
If for some reason interested, [Ohai] is willing to recruit anyone. Players of all skill level are welcomed. Players extremely skilled in PvE who are interested in PvP and vice versa are more then welcomed.
We only have one definite rule:
"The Charr shall rule~!"
