Our guild We Play The Greek [Way] was founded on 17/5/2007 by a (online) company of players with sole purpose the organised play of our favorite game, Guild Wars.
Among founding members were: KleonTheThird, Hades, Erou, Elbereth, EllinasAEK, Magic, Skalex, Ageroxos, Aggelos, Aleria. These members originally came from the guild "Greek Operation Forces [GROF]" and the same, largest gaming clan in Greece (with over 1000 members and 12 supported games). However, our devotion solely to Guild Wars, made us leave GROF and set a new course on our own, occupying ourselves exclusively with what we think is the best mmorpg up-to-date: GW!
The guild is pvp oriented and specifically GvG and our main effort falls under that scope. However we don't say no to other GW PvP and PvE activities such as RA, TA, AB, vanquishing, farming, elite missions etc.
We usually have 20-30 members whose average age is close to 30 years with a span of 17 to 40 years. Many of them have families and kids of their own. We accept new members without any ingame experience whatsoever. We don't have "age" requirements as well. We only require a certain level of maturity to fit ours, along with strong will to have fun. Though most of us are fluent in English, we are reluctant in accepting foreign players and the ONLY reason is the language. We think that foreign players might not blend so well in our "so Greek" way of things (laughing, shouting, cursing in Greek, arguing all the time etc. :D ) We meet on a regular basis, 3 times a week for GvG, but most of us meet more often, almost daily.
