I need to re-download game bought online

I had bought the games online and bonus paks, my compuer had to be wiped and I lost the Guild Wars Games. Since I bought them online, I have no discs to download them from. You have a record of my account, could you please tell me how to re-download my games? Thank you so much, Sheri Thompson Nutrioso

Second Account Confusion

Okay, heres the deal. I have all the Guild Wars campaigns including eotn and they are all linked up to a Ncsoft account. I had the idea of purchasing the Guild Wars trilogy from the Ncsoft store (because I couldn't find a physical copy anywhere)for a family member.

So I went ahead and bought the guild wars trilogy from the Ncsoft store using my account thinking that they would email me the access key code, but instead I just received a order number confirmation in my email and no key.

I notice in my Ncsoft account that the trilogy is listed there under unused key codes but I'm afraid to click on it thinking that it will merge with my existing account.

Is there a way to get that purchase over to a newly created account or do I have to contact support to rectify this?

Update: I managed to solve my problem and feel like a bonehead in the process. I mentioned in my question that the trilogy purchase was listed in my Ncsoft master account, so I decided to click on it and low and behold it allowed me to create another account within my master account. After all that, the access code for the game was sent to me by email. *sigh*

well i just made a trial account so i log off just to do something else and when i try to log back in it says it does not recognize my account ive change my password but it still does not let me log in

Error Code 227

I JUST created a NCsoft Trial accont, and when i tried to log into Guild wars i got hit with error code 227. theres no way i have the password wrong, so i dont know what they want. 5:17PM September 8 2010

First, check if you filled the security question field properly. If it's a new account, leave it blank, if you already created a character, type in the name of the character.
Also, note that your Guild Wars account and your NCsoft account are 2 different things that can be linked, but are also very likely to have different names. Make sure you're using your GW account name. You can find it in your account details if you login on the NCsoft website. Roar! Poki#3 (talk) 01:36, 9 September 2010 (UTC)

Email no longer valid

The email that I orginally used for my account login is no longer valid. It was an email you had to pay for, and we no longer pay for it. I can't add or change my account login because I can't login because my email adress is no longer valid. I really don't want to lose my progress. Is there anything I can do?

You have to contact support and provide them with proof that you're the owner of the account, by listing the access keys that are on the account and providing scans of the keys. Roar! Poki#3 (talk) 02:35, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
Also please note that the game doesn't actually care if the email address is valid or not, at least not for logging in. For instance, my account logins are all email addresses linked to a website URL that no longer exists, but I can still login fine with them. The only reason you'd want a valid email address as your login would be if you forgot your password and needed to reset it. Otherwise, you should still be able to login with the same email address you had before. Just remember that now the GuildWars client requires a character name in order to login as well as the account name and password. --Dragon Nataku talk to me 15:42, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Access key

If they use the same format that they had when I bought my games, it should be in a sealed sleeve, with perforated edges that you can open. G R E E N E R 00:17, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
It can also be in a credit card like piece of plastic, with a code that you have to reveal by scraping of the material covering it like in a pre-paid phone card. Note that you CANNOT buy the game used, so if you bought a used copy you should return it and get your money back. Codes are one-time use only. Roar! Poki#3 (talk) 02:34, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
The other place it might be is just inside the jewel case the discs come in (if they came in a jewel case and not one of those newer DVD-style cases). And by "inside" I mean on the case itself on the inside. --Dragon Nataku talk to me 15:43, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

I use to have an account with Guild Wars a very long time ago. I dont remember my account information or anything. Which is fine I would rather start anew. If i buy the game again (keep in mind the computer I use to have is no longer with me) and use a different email account will that work? not getting help from support

i havent played in long time i was on before the new log on so i dont remember any of my toon name or if they still thier i cant get on to play i put in ticket 3 days and no answer
i would like to play but cant till i get help to recover my name so i can play

Lost my CD-keys

Hey guys... I got a HUGE problem here ... i lost my Guild Wars CD-Keys (except Eye of North Bonus Item Code) while moving and somehow my GW-Account is already connected to a NC-Soft-Account!? Now the Guys from Support wan't me to give them all Keys + an Unique Code i received in an E-Mail 5 years ago! This Mail is long deleted by my mail provider (Gmx-Freemail). Is there a way to find out my Keys? Or do i need to use illegal methods to be able to connect MY GW-Account with my NC-Soft-Account? Trust i don't want to use such Methods but i got a nearly all Titles with this Account!

You should not need to use illegal methods. Check the FAQ for alternative places to look for things that can confirm your ownership. Key already used

Keys can only be used once. Your recourse would be through ebay and the person you purchased the game from. G R E E N E R 21:27, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

Cannot log in

i tried everything cannot log in. i payed online applying my code to my old trial account from last may. i know my user name is right <deleted> and password because i just reset it. My account key ending five is <deleted> PLease help... <deleted email>

First, read the information in the red floating box. If your issue is with you purchasing something, and not receiving what you expected, take that up with those you purchased your product from. If you believe that your key is valid (though I'm not sure how you'd know that), then contact support, but they may refer you to my previously suggested course of action. NCJapan Account

i can no longer access my guildwars NCJAPAN account after months of inactivity. i have a record of my username, password & character name in my computer thats why im pretty sure they are all correct. i tried changing my password at their japanese site but still no good, i think im only changing the password of the NCJAPAN account not the game account itself. any suggestion guys on how to regain access to my japan account? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 114.69.147.118 (talk).

Login failure

Advice would be nice :)

So I opened a ticket already for this but I wanted to see what you guys thought. I don't play GW much anymore except when my friend wants me to.
I couldn't remember the password and the email I had the account connected to I ALSO lost the Pass for. So I'm kinda screwed, to say the least. (I tried recovering the password but apparently it's old enough that I was stupid and didn't put in my birthday right DX eff.)
Do you think there is anything they can do? I saw the thing about showing verification that it's my copy of the game but I'm not sure the same would apply here.

Temp. Access Keys aren't working

I remember my Account name "....@excite.com", but I could not remember my old password. I sent a 'Reset Password' which I got via E-mail, yet when I tried using it, I get a message: "We dont recognize your account login information." Contacted Support, yet nothing so far. It's a long weekend, and support will likely be running with a smaller crew, and will take a few days to get around to this issue. Also, does your title imply that you're using one of the temporary access keys? If so, those have a limited usage time on them. G R E E N E R 20:58, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

recovering your delelted characters if you do a goback on your computer

Is there any way you can recover your deleted characters if you were to do a goback on your computer?

No, there's no way to recover a deleted character. The only thing that's saved on your computer are skill/equipment templates and screenshots. The rest (any account/character information) is saved on ArenaNet's servers to prevent cheating and manipulations, among other things. You can try contacting support but I never heard of them restoring a deleted character or item. Roar! Poki#3 (talk) 15:55, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
