I don't know why the info box says the bear is a mesmer. It uses no skills, so the only explanation is that it's health bar reads Me28 or something..... --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:82.15.15.120 (talk).

I personally don't think Bear is Balthazar. In the new Wintersday quests, it is shown that Raven and Grenth are in fact one in the same (or more accurately, Raven is an Avatar of the God of Death). Yes, the Bear Spirit is known for it's strength, but it is also referred to as "she" and it is the leader of the Norn Spirits. I believe that the Bear Spirit is in fact Dwayna. not Balthazar. -- KonigDesTodes 09:28, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

They're not saying that Bear is Balthazar; they're saying they are equivalent. Norn respect the Bear as a warrior spirit.

In the Epilogue, Bear Spirit "looks upon you with approval". Anybody else who came to think of the picture that says "Pedobear approves"?
