I blew up the gate with the lever while opening it and was unable to go through that or any other unblown gateway, even after exploding them. Is this a common bug?

But why did you change the words? It sounded a lot better with 'will' and 'approximately'. Regardless of the 1.5. User:Bearpaw Bearpaw (talk · contributions) 22:08, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
If I had gotten 1.3, I wouldn't care about approximate. A difference of 0.3, as small as it seems, is 25% larger than the previously named number of 1.2, and seemed to go beyond approximate to me. Near the begining, there is a group of Cnetaurs off tot he side, if you go over to where they are there are more even furthur off to the side. After kililng lhtem I noticed a gate that looks liek it coudl be opened with the barrels thatopen other gates. Hard mode[edit]

Any tips for hard mode? The groups with the 2 stone summit howlers, stone summit sage and dolyak rider are giving me headaches.212.182.161.234 00:01, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

ProTip for anyone else who has trouble on this spot... Especially with H/H or bad pugs --> Instead of automatically approaching them from the left side where all the ice golemns are, you can walk up around the right side and gradually "pull-one --> spike-one", by luring them over that little riser at the top of that switchback. And Yes, this even works if half your team is MM's, assuming you flag them back right. It does require enchant removal to strip MoP and a bit of practice though --ilr 20:18, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Gates to Krok's Hollow[edit]

I have had these gates not open twice now, even when ALL nearby foes have been defeated. I have tried running back and forth hoping it would open. Is it that you *MUST* kill the Engineers last in order for them to open? --Quiesce 14:09, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Never mind, I have found the reason. There are two sets of two ballistae you must destroy. Silly me ran past the first set. Remember yellow pings, I guess! --Quiesce 14:17, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Mission-breaking bug[edit]

We get more and more useless shit like jingle bears and moas, but anet still can't fix the bug which prevents you from completing this mission? (which has been around since the beginning of the game) 76.16.108.117 13:41, 10 March 2012 (UTC)

Don't expect ANet to know that this mission has a game-stopping bug unless you report it at the official forums. They have pretty much attended to any significant issue reported there for which they are given enough information to replicate. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 20:02, 15 March 2012 (UTC)


Suggestions: Make sure ALL FOUR engineers are dead (the balistae do NOT all need to "look" defeated to BE defeated). Make sure all bosses 0 INCLUDING the possibility of Whiskar as Bonus foe are dead. Return to gate.

please make sure to sign your comments. the only things needing to be killed, is the 4 engineers, yes the single dudes standing there, , the ice elemental patrol once you are through the gate with the level, and all the enemies infront of the gate that opens, EXCEPT the right side ice elemental group against the gate. the left ones do. none of the bosses matter, nor does the bonus matter.
