Talk:Brave Brent Poltroon
Name[edit]
A Brave Poltroon? This name is a discrepance. —ZerphaThe Improver 16:39, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Monty Python ;p "Brave, brave sir robin, bravely ran away.." — Skuld 16:41, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hey! His name rhymes with Judoon! xP Paddymew 15:05, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
Unlike the other members of Weststar's squad, his name isn't a close reference to a member of the Alpha Team from Resident Evil but Weststar's dialogue clearly makes him the stand in for Brad Vickers who flees with the helicopter in that game's opening cutscene. --70.160.118.223 09:57, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
Lolzcakes[edit]
"When alive, he is a ranger, but when discovered as a corpse, he is holding a hammer." Probably why he died, not to mention they used their super secret uberspell of level stripping on him and made him lvl 1 :O Poor poor Brent Nay the One and Only 06:33, 16 November 2010 (UTC)
Commando is commanding[edit]
[1] Actually, Sergeant is the squad's leader, with the (known) members being those three. This is both shown in the first dialogue of the group, the quest gained from Brent's corpse, and the WiK dialogue between Evennia and the Ebon Vanguard "The fight is here! The Ebon Falcons are needed here! Why not send Weststar, or Nye's unit?" - odd that during Falling Out, Jenn calls the Sergeant "captain" though. Konig/talk 08:31, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
- It's a grammar issue, not a factual one. Weststar commands by himself; Poltroon is, along with the others, a member of the group. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 14:49, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
- I don't know why you moved this discussion as I was nor questioning your change, but saying based on you summary implying that sergeant didn't lead (by my misreading), and the former wording says he was under the sergeant's command and his teammates (along with) were the other two.Konig/talk 15:26, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
