list of bundle items section[edit]

I notice this is a manual list. Is there a way to embed a list pulled from the category? I don't know enough wikicode to know. --Xylia 19:09, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Following up to my own post... I took a look at DPL and can almost see how to do this, except that the items currently listed as PvP don't have criteria I can see to filter them on. For instance I could use category = bundle|bundle stubs with linksto = prophecies for Prophecies bundles, assuming they're all correctly tagged with the appropriate infobox variables, but the PvP items just are listed as Core, so can't be differentiated from other multi-campaign items that way.

All of which begs the question: is there any reason to include the list at all? Or would it be better to simply say "see list of bundle items" or whatever? If the former, someone with a brighter idea on how to filter the lists might want to speak up. If the latter, well, presumably if you're the type to come read this at all you know how. :) --Xylia 15:13, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

There's few nonPvP bundles, and as there is not going to be more, or so I'd think, why not manually exclude them? Backsword 02:49, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Skills Effected By Bundles[edit]

The page states "some" of the skills that are effected by bundles. Is there a list of all skills effected by bundles? If not, could someone code one in? Thanks Magic 05:13, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

HCT or HSR works?[edit]

I have an interesting question: do the stave's/wand's/focus item's HCT and HSR mods work while you are holding an item?Tiberium 12:09, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

They don't... Tiberium 08:39, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

0 Energy bug[edit]

So far I've only experienced this with "Cruel Was Daoshen", but whenever I use the last of my energy to activate this skill (and I'm sure any other bundle skill), after casting, my energy bar stays at 0. I'm regenerating my energy alright, but I can't see that I have energy, and skills don't cast because I "don't have enough energy", but as soon as I drop the bundle, I have all the energy I've regenerated thus far back. Anyone else have this problem? --DEMONIIIK 04:45, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

That's because you have negative energy. When you hold the item, you lose the bonuses from your weapons. King Neoterikos 04:48, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
How about, when I cast an Item spell, sometimes, when I have, say, 15 Energy, and I try to cast Clumsiness, it says I don't have enough energy. This is a bug right? I can try to get a screenie if somebody wants. Jeree95 14:02, 1 November 2011 (UTC)

Calling Targets[edit]

Is it a bug or intended mechanic that makes it so while holding a bundle you cannot direct your heros/henchies by calling targets? And if it is a bug, is there any work on correcting it?75.121.83.113 02:35, 12 November 2009 (UTC)

tables[edit]

maybe some show/hide, at least on one; they make this article unwieldy but it would be silly to give them their own | 72 User Seventy two Truly Random.jpg (UTC) 02:16, 23 April 2010 (UTC)

What is Fragile[edit]

The Infobox for Bundles lists a property called Fragile, being either Yes, No, or Timed; and linking to [[Bundle#Fragility]]. But that word doesn't appear anywhere on the page or in the underlaying code (# seems to mean "Redirect to another page", but is used differently ~ #REDIRECT [[Target page]]). I'm guessing Fragility pertains to the entry "Many bundles are destroyed when dropped...", but someone with an clear understanding of these terms needs to do the editing. --Nonsuch 05:45, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

#Fragility is a pointer to an anchor that was removed from the page. For some reason, User:72 removed it in this edit. (I'll try to restore it later.)  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 06:52, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
Gah! There was so much to juggle in that edit, I guess I lost fragility. Anyway, thanks for fixin' it. | 72 User 72 Truly Random.jpg | 15:20, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
I thought it might be something like that. Your edit improved the article by leaps and bounds. And: you even included a better description of fragility (than the original); the only thing missing was the anchor (and you couldn't have known that it was used by some template). All-in-all: well done :-)  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 19:51, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

Touch skills?[edit]

I'm wondering if you can use touch skills while holding a bundle since you can't attack while holding one. Anybody know the answer to this? Pjwned 05:17, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

should be ok; they don't count as attacks.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 05:40, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
So I was curious and went to isle of the nameless to test if you can use touch skills while holding a bundle (or at least a bundle created from an item spell but I don't think there's any difference) and yeah it works. I would've tested it earlier myself but whatever, question answered. Pjwned 08:08, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
(Though of course, whenever you use touch skills, you want to be moving as fast as you can...) | 72 User 72 Truly Random.jpg | 13:38, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

Speed Reduction?[edit]

What's the reduction in speed when carrying a bundle? This would be useful information for the main page. 98.124.14.226 01:19, 1 December 2011 (UTC)

It's 25% for most bundles, although there's exceptions. All ritualist bundles and several environmental bundles do not have the speed reduction, which makes me thing it's set for each bundle separately. For example, the seeds in Jehnnur's Horde and the bundles with drop effects found in Eye of the North do not have the speed reduction effect, as far as I can remember. Bundle Infobox[edit]

Someone edited the bundle infobox, which changed the Fragile attribute to Single-Use, and many bundle pages weren't edited for the new format. Fragile bundles like the Powder Keg are listed as non-Single-Use, even though it is the page's example for single-use items. Where can I find the correct usage of a bundle infobox? If none use them, it should be reverted. If most use them, I'd like to use it as an example to base old pages on. Blue Totoro 02:40, 13 January 2015 (UTC)

Not able to sit down and look at it right now, but the conversation should be on Template talk:Bundle infobox. You may want to add more there, or start a new discussion. G R E E N E R 04:03, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
Thanks. There's only like three pages that link there. Blue Totoro 21:08, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
Okay, so now I've had a better chance to read your questions. I would suggest using the "singleuse" variable in the infobox ("fragile" no longer works). You can change the Powder Kegs to say "yes" to singleuse, as you pointed out, and do the same on the others where appropriate. The infobox has other descriptors, though careful reading may be necessary in order to parse them apart! Best of luck. G R E E N E R 21:16, 13 January 2015 (UTC)

data[edit]

{{#dpl:
| namespace = | uses = Bundle infobox | include = {Bundle infobox}:fragile:singleuse
| table = {{STDT}} class="sortable",page,hue,singleuse
| offset = 0 | count = 500
}}
I'll fix this, given that both parameters are currently used I'll move it to "singleuse" I can edit it with a bot if necessary later. -Chieftain Alex 22:28, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
All bundles now use "singleuse" rather than "fragile". -Chieftain Alex 23:37, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
