Uhm? capped at 200%? That's for multiple skills. Needs to be removed. It was bugged before, isn't anymore. now totals to 260% gain at 16 leadership. --Lou-SaydusUser Lou-Saydus Hail Storm.jpg 23:49, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Have you tested it? You didn't! Cos if you did, you'd see it still isn't fixed. At 16 leadership Lion's Comfort 5A gets charged in 3 hits, Gash 7A gets charged in 4 hits, and Final Thrust 10A gets charged in 5 hits. If it wasn't capped at 100% they would get charged in 2 hits, 3 hits and 4 hits respectively. Next time actually test things before making completely uninformed claims. --193.95.195.100 11:12, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

So is the bug of not gaining past 100% gonna get fixed this century or the next? --193.95.195.227 17:42, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Weird, final thrust charges in 4 hits? but holy spear and merciless spear are 2 and 3? o.O? wtf? so it'S more than 200% but not the full 250% at 15 leadership. --66.45.173.98 07:40, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
Well, I sure don't know exactly how it works. Final Thrust does indeed charge in 4 strikes at 16 (which would be right at 260%). I can't remember off the top of my head what it takes to charge it with rank 15, but at 14 it takes 5 strikes - maybe that means that it always rounds down...blah, who knows. I suppose I could check it out a bit and try to fix something...I wish someone else would though because I am starting from almost scratch. Any takers? The Adrenaline page also needs fixing...--Louai 00:45, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Personally, i prefer FGJ over this. In most cases,a paragon doesnt needsupremely vast amounts of andrenaline. The only time he ever might really want this skill is if he/she was using an andrenaline shout/chant-heavy build--User Raph Sig2.jpgRaph Talky 23:31, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

Thats exactly when it should be used. I ran this with a FoW Motivation shouter, and let me tell you, I had no troubles. Granted I didn't have Ballad of Restoration, but I did have several shouts that used a bit of adrenaline. This bad boy kept me constantly spamming supportive shouts. FleshAndFaith 06:35, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Builds with lots of adrenaline chants suck big time. --Spura 14:36, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
Which is exactly why I ran it in FoW and got to the armorer for my friend. Think about it, I powered up a shout that healed me when I shouted, I powered up a shout that made my 10/15 energy shouts cost less energy. I could use Save Yourselves and There's Nothing To Fear like nobodies business. FleshAndFaith 03:22, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

Non-paragons[edit]

Shouldn't they get something out of this? It seems odd to have an elite skill that does nothing if you're not of a particular class. Yes I know there are other skills like it. But I think those should be changed as well. --T-Lo 22:30, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

Would you use it if it gave you 10% extra adrenaline? Nicky Silverstar 16:24, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
Oh yeah...like all those awesome Divine Favor elites that work so well for other professions. --193.77.23.92 19:01, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Anomaly Removed[edit]

I took out the anomaly because it was just not correct. The adrenal gain seems to work similar to armor boosting - you can't stack over a specified amount, but you can get over that amount by using one skill. If anyone has a problem with that, show some evidence and then change it.--Louai 20:54, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Isn't that exactly why it was a bug. It should have broken 100%, being one skill, but it didn't. I don't have time to test it atm, but last I checked, it was still bugged. Edit: Tested with Lions Comfort: charged in two hits at 16 leadership. It was bugged, I think it's good now. -Zefir

Synergizes well with?[edit]

why did someone feel the need to put in that it synergizes well with save yourself? perhaps we should just break it down and say it synergizes well with any adrenalin skill...dur...Now if both those skills were pve only ones i could see that fiting without being redundant--96.13.194.153 06:51, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

It costs 8 adrenaline but lasts a very short time, and this skill allows you to keep it up all the time. That's the synergy, and other adrenaline skills don't necessitate it in a similar way. I don't see what both being PvE skills has to do with it, that isn't a good basis for synergy, if anything it makes it worse since you can only have 3 on your bar. In fact I removed such a note from the Necrosis page where it listed a random PvE skill when in fact many non-PvE skills would be better, and if you listed them all it would be superfluous. --Lytel 07:00, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
And because of that this synergy note will be removed. Noctarch 00:52, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
I agree with lytel :P Super Range RangerCow 11:09, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
You guys are right, this stink doesn't have any synergy with any Paragon skills since they last too low can be activated accidentaly, maybe will see a buff later on.--ShadowFog 21:36, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
I'm sure, then, that SY! also synergizes well with Barrage, Triple Chop, Twin Moon Sweep, Incendiary Arrows, Cyclone Axe...
Owait. None of those pages say it. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 03:10, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

break points[edit]

there are actually break points in which this skill is no better then either battle rage or FGJ when running even r 15 leadership.

  • 1 adren, =
  • 2 adren, =
  • 3 adren, =
  • 4 adren, =
  • 5 adren, /= (3hits 100%), (2hits 150%)
  • 6 adren, =
  • 7 adren, /= (4hits 100%), (3hits 150%)
  • 8 adren, =
  • 9 adren, /= (5hits 100%), (4hits 150%)
  • 10adren, /= (5hits 100%), (4hits 150%)

notice the 8adren (SY) is the same with battle rage, FGJ and Focused Anger--Justice 05:46, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

That said, FGJ is pretty useless now in PvP, and Battle Rage needs to be renewed almost constantly with no strength, so this would be a better alternative. 188.74.101.228 14:43, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
Hate to rain on your parade, but 5 adrenaline is not always 5 adrenaline. The adrenaline system is more complicated than the strikes. Misery 14:45, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
Also worth noting when comparing this to other increased adrenaline gain skills (assuming I have any idea about the way the skill system works) is that this has no subtype; it is just a basic skill. Shouts can specifically be prevented (Well of Silence, Vocal Minority), stances can be removed (Wild Blow, Wild Strike, Wild Throw, etc,), but since this has no subtype and is simply a skill, with no activation time, it can't be removed, and it's nearly impossible to stop you from using it, the only effective method being directly disabling it (Blackout, Power Block, Signet of Humility, and so on). --Gammastar 02:23, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

Mesmer[edit]

He reminds me of the stance mesmers appear in when they cast a 2 second cast enchantment on themselves, arms horizontal, legs down, chest forward n stuff. Demonic Fahrir talk 09:54, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
