Ah, happy to help :) one other tip I didn't mention - use {| style="background-color:inherit;" instead of just {| and it will use the background color from the div around it (i.e. blue, not white). User DimeCadmium sig.jpgDime Cadmium! 07:19, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
Doesnt work D: This, that is {| style="background-color:inherit;" DemonicFahrir 07:26, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
Hmm... I went ahead and did it (and it seems to work :p) User DimeCadmium sig.jpgDime Cadmium! 07:29, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
Not to be annoying, but the white line is still there O_o DemonicFahrir 07:30, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
Not annoying at all, but I don't know what you're talking about... :p
Before and after the style="..." (for me). Try this, and show preview: {| style="background-color:#cee0f2;"
If that doesn't work, go ahead and screenshot it for me User DimeCadmium sig.jpgDime Cadmium! 07:38, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
Win. Its nice and blue now, thanks Dime DemonicFahrir 07:40, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Things you need to do...[edit]

Hey, noticed you needed to learn how to make subpages, their really easy. For example, all your subpages will be a sub of your userpage (thus keeping it in your userspace). If you wanted to make a characters subpage (or any such page, its up to you), you would first make a link to it on one of your pages. Something like this: User:DemonicFahrir/Characters (ignore the "nowiki"s that you see here in edit mode, that makes the wiki not code the text into an actual link). This will give you a link to the page (but it does not exist yet). Click the link, and presto, your on the new subpage ready for creation and editing. Just pop that link you made now into the place you want it and your golden. If you now want to include the subpage in another page, you can make the wiki take that page's info (lets call it page 2) and put it into another page (which we'll call page 1) easily, just type it like this: . This will let you "include" the code from page 2 into page 1 without needing all the coding cluttering it up.

Also, for skill icons that link to the skill, its already set up that way if you follow this. If you link to the skill image itself, the one on the skill page, it will link you to that page if you click on it. For example, your favorite skill Vengeance is Ours would be like this: ,and ends up looking like this:

Vengeance is Ours.jpg

As you can see, clicking this picture sends you to that skill's page.

If you wish to make a link to a page, such as the Delver title page, and yet make it say something else, like Adventurous Delver, you can do that too. Adventurous Delver, Adventurous Delver. The "bar," or | makes the link say something you want, but direct you to something in particular. You could use this for your userbox template to link to your favorite title's page.

The userbox template you are using is unfortunately set for that yellow color, so if you wanted to make a green one, you would need to copy the template code itself on the page, and put it in a subpage of yours. Something like User:DemonicFahrir/Userbox or something. You would then just change the color variable to what you wanted. If however you are going to use a template of Wyn's, you may no longer need the userbox template and therefor do not need to make your own that is dark green.

Hope this helps you make your page the way you want it to be ^^ --Neithan DiniemUser Talk:Neithan Diniem 16:55, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

User Images[edit]

In accordance to GWW:IMAGE, be sure to name all images you upload for your userspace with User_DemonicFahrir_(Image name). --- Ness Hrin User Ness Hrin SBIcon.png | 17:01, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

Tnx Wyn, all i need to do now is figure out how it works coughelp ^.^ DemonicFahrir 17:37, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
When you upload the image, just be sure to check the "User Image" mark underneath the file destination. If you do that plus turn off "Ignore Warnings", wiki will automatically correct the image destination for you. --- Ness Hrin User Ness Hrin SBIcon.png | 17:41, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
I see Image Use and Licensing settings. it doesnt have User image but it does have User space, should i tap that? DemonicFahrir 17:48, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
Oh, sorry yes, that's the one. Follow the above directions with that tag and you'll be good. --- Ness Hrin User Ness Hrin SBIcon.png | 17:51, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
Yay. It keeps adding this: User_DemonicFahrir as filename when i try to upload it. It wont accept the name Wyn gave it, it just adds User_DemonicFahrir in front of it over and over DemonicFahrir 17:53, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
Wyn and I already fixed the images you uploaded. Just keep this in mind for future images. --- Ness Hrin User Ness Hrin SBIcon.png | 17:58, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
Okay. Thanks for that, but i still do not understand how to get it to appear in the user page. Quite frankly i do not understand it at all. Could you tell me what link to use and what to write to make the picture appear? DemonicFahrir 18:14, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
I somewhat answered that on the discussion on my talk page if you wana check that out. I didnt put in the tag information (knowing me, Ive probably got to go back and check if I got all my images right...), but the way to name and show, or "Link," an image in a page is all there.--Neithan DiniemUser Talk:Neithan Diniem 21:42, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

(Reset indent) Create a link on the page where you want the image to appear. This is also the easiest way to make sure you are naming them correctly. The link should look like: . Replace (imagename) with the specific name of the image. This will create a red link on your page (if you have not already uploaded the image). Then just click on the link and it will take you to the upload page. If you need more help with images, see our Help:Images page. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 01:24, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

I think i get it now. Its a miracle ^.^ how to get pictures to work that is. One more thing. I cant find the discription of how to add a picture that is already uploaded. If you can point me to that id appreciate it, i am almost sure its not getting trough or its not there. Your help is very much appreciated DemonicFahrir 09:53, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
If teh image is already on the wiki, you just link to it the same way you linked to your own image. Find the image, click it (make sure your not redirected to another page first, a small line of text at the top left part of the page will tell you if you were) and copy its full name. Stick it between the brackets and your golden.--Neithan DiniemUser Talk:Neithan Diniem 16:02, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

(Reset indent) I corrected your image link on your character page. For the character template, you need to have a cropped image, the full size screenshot will not work. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 06:54, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Added the |300px|center to the image, i think i got it now. All i need to do now is get some GOOD pictures DemonicFahrir 06:56, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Kso. I'm not the best person at explaining this stuff, I'm better at doing it myself >_> but here goes... (I'll use examples, for now)

{| style="whatever i said..."
| column 1, first row
| column 2, first row
| this will be on a new row: column 1, second row
| and the same row: column 2, second row
Heres the above section applied to a template:
row 1, column 1 row 1, column 2
row 2, column 1 row 2, column 2
And something a bit more complex:
row 1
row 2+3, column 1 row 2, column 2
row 3, column 2
Check ->here<- to learn about tables, they are the ultimate method to organize a page's contents.--Neithan DiniemUser Talk:Neithan Diniem 03:02, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
Hmm, good link. Anyway, Demonic, my suggestion (though that's all it is) is 3 userboxes per row. My reasoning behind this is simply to make it fit into a single page (i.e., no horizontal scrolling) on my computer (1024x768 resolution (which is still fairly average, IMO)). -User DimeCadmium sig.jpgDimeCadmium! 20:58, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
Used 4 rows, fits on every page as far as i can see DemonicFahrir 06:49, 8 July 2010 (UTC)

If you have an honest suggestion for Guild Wars, you could suggest it in the feedback section. If what you want has already been posted there you can support it by adding your input in the suggestions talk page. It took several months work, but the feedback space of the wiki is the place to post any suggestions your serious about. You can get there by clicking here.--Neithan DiniemUser Talk:Neithan Diniem 16:37, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

Question about my page[edit]

Hey Demonic Fahrir. It seems my page is completely gone after that incident few hours ago with the Main Page. Do you know has this happened before? My talk page seems to be ok. Shira 17:02, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

Do you mean your Userpage or your Talk page? Your user page has never been made before, as far as i can see DemonicFahrirDesecrate Enchantments.jpg 19:00, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
I meant my Userpage. It threw me to an error page yesterday which said "Page not found. Error #4xx". That page had weird links and it didn't look like a Guild Wars wiki page. Now it seems to work normally and just gives the option to start editing the page. So everything is in order again. Shira 06:23, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
