Why do these pages exist? Do we really need another copy of everything in the general namespace? ~FarloUser Farlo Triad.pngTalk 19:34, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

Does it not make archiving easier to have one page for each month ? 213.245.58.66 05:16, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
I don't think you understood the question I was trying to ask. I was asking why we had what I thought was a copy of the updates in the general namespace. I thought the archives stayed in the Feedback section, but that's not the case, so please disregard the question :P ~FarloUser Farlo Triad.pngTalk 07:33, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

There was a fair sized download today. Is there an update today? Nothing on the website yet. 60.50.240.215 11:41, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

noticed the same, something has been added. Oh the mystery 84.193.179.123 13:07, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
There was some sort of emergency maintenance. People online from midnight PDT (or 0700 UTC) were kicked from the game without warning for about an hour. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 16:16, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
THERE WAS NOTICE PEOPLE, THEY PUT IT ON THEIR FACEBOOK AND GUILDWARS.COM. Jesus, I am sick of seeing the same thing over and over again that it was unannounced. If people would look at things besides just GW constantly you would have seen it was announced all over. Dervish-tango-icon-20.pngDevi Talk 16:27, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
Then ask jesus if he wants to cure your sickness by giving you the knowledge that not everyone is using those sites. Damysticreaper 16:37, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
There was no notice to people that do not use Facebook. The Guildwars.com site was updated very late relative to the maintenace. Normally, Devi, people get more than a few hours warning. Plus, during any previous maintenance, those online at the time have been sent in-game messages stating that maintenance would begin shortly.
It's trivial for ANet to update the login announcement (it doesn't require technical change management anymore). It's less trivial, but still easy, to make sure that this website carries an announcement. — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 16:45, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

Switching sides is a little less tedious, was hoping they would fix that.--Relyk 00:06, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
