Kournan? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:137.163.21.50 .

Not sure if she's even Elonian. I know she's a member of the Shining Blade, and that she's a traveller, but to be honest I have no idea where she's from :P --Santax (talk · contribs) 14:41, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
she's kinky :D
Bartholos as the Shining Blade leader? What happened to Evennia? --Valentein 20:34, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
Many things can happen in 8 years... 12 days left till we know. Chriskang 20:51, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
Was Evennia ever explicitly referred to as the leader of the Shining Blade rather than merely being a member of their ruling council along with Markis, Saidra, Vaylor and (potentially) others? -- Gordon Ecker 23:29, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
Along that line of thought, was there ever any mention of a "leader" at all besides the Ruling Council? I had always assumed Evennia was the leader/founder/whatever, since she seemed more important than the other members, I suppose. She certainly had more of a presence in the storyline. I can't remember if she was ever referred to as the leader, though. --Valentein 00:10, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
Bartholos is only the leader of the Shining Blade expedition to Asura-land -- Anonymous The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.19.196.62 (talk • contribs) 30 January 2008 (UTC).
Yes, this discussion was concluded half a year ago, when it was still mostly speculation. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 01:02, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Onar Ironblood refers to Evennia as the Shining Blade's leader in Seeking the Seer. - Ander01 17:31, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

That means Evennia is out of the story? I always liked her, don't know why though MageMontu 06:17, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

It was never explicitly stated that Evennia was the leader of the Shining Blade. We just assumed so because she seemed to be the one making all the decisions. It's possible that Evennia stepped down after the events in Prophecies, but we'd have to wait till EN to find out for sure. Oh, and I think Elder Gretchen is another member of the Shining Blade Inner Council. --Zaxares 03:18, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
I'm guessing she's the de facto leader as the most charismatic and respected member of the Inner Council (and the only known surviving Inner Council member, although Shadow may be a member, and possible members such as Elder Gretchen may have survived). Evennia also could have been killed or captured. -- Gordon Ecker 05:09, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
That's possible. I'm really hoping that there will be unique character reactions based on campaign in GW:EN, in dialogue I hope. If a Shining Blade member tells a Tyrian character that Evennia was killed (after all we went through to save her!), it's a big deal. To an Elonian character, it's not such a big deal. --Valentein 05:30, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

Cool, a female paragon that doesn't look like a man. 74.102.241.126 15:45, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Erm if you look at Evennia it says she's the leader of the shining Blades MageMontu 22:03, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
It says she's a leader of the Shining Blade now :D. -- Gordon Ecker 08:34, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
So that means their's more then 1 leader? Maybe a High Council or something MageMontu 07:18, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Origins[edit]

Are we sure she's Krytan in origin? It says she likes to travel... Backsword 09:30, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

I don't think that it stands for her parents too. --Bazooka56

Nightfall?[edit]

Does this mean that there is no need for nightfall to get this hero? It does not say on the page, and I would REALLY like to be able to get her before I get Nightfall. Any comment? --Elementalist-icon-small.pngTroy FrostwindRanger-icon-small.png 19:27, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

No, you won't need Nightfall, but you'll only have access to 10 Paragon skills before you buy it. --Santax (talk · contribs) 19:28, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
10 + the skills she comes with. - User HeWhoIsPale sig.PNG HeWhoIsPale 19:37, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
If they're Nightfall skills, he won't be able to use them... they'll be locked. --Santax (talk · contribs) 19:38, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Thank goodness! --Elementalist-icon-small.pngTroy FrostwindRanger-icon-small.png 23:17, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
If a hero comes with a locked skill, they will be able to use it themselves. But you will not be able to force them to use it. At least, that's how Razah is with Wielder's Boon.72.81.247.139 04:01, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

The image does not show her red hair[edit]

I cannot help, but her hair is a mix of the popular "wild" dervish hair style and the ranger hair style of Gaile Gray's forum avatars. Her name could be a wordplay for "hi thar!" or the german "hey da". Whatever. She is snuggly enough to get an aureate aegis, thanks got there are now collectors for them. --Longasc 09:43, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

I could add a picture of her in a well lit area. Done, but I'm still waiting for it to show. Oh well, it was changed back to the original picture. I tried, but I have a feeling if I try again, I'll get a hammer thrown at me or something. XD;;--Seth Crimsonflare 01:01, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

Non Nightfall Accounts[edit]

I dont have nightfall or factions but can use the heros. Hayda in particular is very useful. She comes with one of the better rezes in game (signet of return), a party wide hex control (hex breaker aria) and a few attack skills. I have her set at 12 leadership, 12 spear mastery and 10 smite prayers running with: barbed spear, maiming spear, chest thumper(livia has weaken armor), spear swipe, Sig of judgement(elite), smite hex, hex breaker aria, and signet of return.--Justice 09:55, 5 July 2008 (UTC) woah thats too many att pts, runes dont count you know! Annoying And Deadly 23:07, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Probably includes runes. Bobius 13:19, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

Eyes[edit]

Is it me or Does She look blind? I dont get why Paragon eyes look like that? илья 17:33, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Nah, she just has very bright blue-greyish eyes. There are people with such eyes, I remember an actress who has them like that. They were kinda creepy tho. >.< 193.215.199.34 14:53, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

I think they also wanted to pay homage to the movie Dune in NF where some of the characters had luminous blue eyes on a desert planet. (95.109.102.252 13:12, 14 October 2009 (UTC))

It's probably supposed to represent the otherworldly nature of Paragons. Glowey eyes such as those of Paragons are often used to represent as such in many forms of media. Remember, Paragons are handpicked by the gods to be their champions among mortals (according to the manuscripts), and their angellic nature is supposed to be taken quite literally as a result. The Paragon is never a regular man (or woman). It's about showing that.

Albeit the throwaway mobs the Kournans constantly chuck at us with Paragon members does suggest otherwise lol (not to mention the nerfbats vendetta against Paragons lol). 82.11.226.30 19:00, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

Scar[edit]

It says in the Notes that she has a scar over her right eye. Could somebody please upload an image of this?
