Talk:Hei Tsu
That trivia is terrible. You can't always infer things like that from Chinese transliteration like that. While it's true that "black pig" may transliterate to "hei tsu," other phrases like "black pearl" or "black pillar" or "black ancestor" would transliterate to the same thing. Better to not bother with it, since we don't really know what they're thinking. 74.74.170.160 05:22, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- It's note Hates, but I think it's more like "Hates You" versus hates... Sable The Master of Bei Shun 09:24, 13 November 2011 (UTC)

hates[edit]
i can confirm that it is indeed named after him.- Zesbeer 05:27, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- Here's a quote I got from GM Lemoncobra - "After speaking with Gaile, I can confirm that the character was named after Hates by one of the Live team." Can we make a note of this now? 60.234.197.191 07:26, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, GWW:AGF isn't sufficient for this claim. We cannot just assume that quote is legitimate, you have no sources to back up your information. A copy of an email (or a screenshot of an email) that was clearly sent from arenanet staff, or a screenshot showing a whisper clearly made by arenanet staff would be required, otherwise the note remains merely an assumption. And - for the most part - we don't list "assumptions" of trivia.
- I'm sure that if this claim is true, a staff member will come confirm it in due time, either here or via their talk page.
- I'm sorry that we can't just assume good faith in this case, I'm sure it must be frustrating. Ryuu *bite* 07:31, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- It was named after me, actually. elix Omni 07:40, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

- Thanks. I'm going to leave the page as-is until the morning, where more users will be able to judge if that image is sufficient enough for us to keep the note. I believe it is legitimate, but understand that anything is possible with image editing software, and a direct answer from a staff member would be much easier to source.
- If the trivia hasn't been added by later this evening by someone else, and no objection is made, I'll add it myself. Ryuu *bite* 08:53, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- You could always ask support yourself, or even Gaile since she confirmed it to Lemoncobra. Be my guest.60.234.197.191 07:38, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
conversion[edit]
doesn't imp to bath a conversion rate of like 3:1? maybe i am wrong but i know its not 1:1.... and shouldn't that be noted?- Zesbeer 00:09, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
- I didn't pay too much to Balthazar faction, truth be told. I just noticed it looked just about all the same. Konig/talk 01:23, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
- yea i am right look at the imperial faction page it says it there now im just wondering if it needs to be notated here as well.- Zesbeer 01:36, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
Need him in major cities[edit]
I dunno if it's just me, but I'd like to see ANET put him in the major cities or at least Embark or GToB. Because if you go do a PvP Zaishen Combat like say AB or JQ, if you're like me you turn in your Imperial Faction at the end of our combat, and then map to Embark to turn in your quest and pick up your Copper Coins only to get more Imperial Faction and have to map back to a Kurz/Lux outpost and turn your Imperial Faction back in...OR even better, I'd like to see ANET impliment a feature that I've wanted for years - a button like on the Guild tab similar to the "Leave Guild Hall" button that works in any city to allow you to immediately return to the previous outpost you were at. So, say you were at Gate of Madness in NF for some reason and decide you need to go to Lions Arch for some reason for a minute. To get back to Gate of Madness you'd have to to map to Kamadan, then hit the Vortex, and then map to Gate of Madness. It'd be so much easier to have a "Return to Previous Location" button...just sayin' (Usaf1a8xx 14:06, 18 June 2011 (UTC))
- 1) Wrong place, you want Feedback:Getting started. 2) You can hold onto the faction until the next time you PvP. 3) There's no need for the "return to previous location" button as your example fails in two ways: a) You cannot go from GoM to LA directly; b) Embark Beach can take you to GoM thus allowing you to skip one of those outposts. Rather than a return-to-previous-location, I'd rather see an "Go to Embark Beach" button. Konig/talk 15:59, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, having this NPC in gtob would actually be useful at least to some people. Suppose you want to trade your imperial faction for zaishen keys and suppose that your balthazar faction cap is really small and your imperial faction cap is really big. You have to:
- 1. go to FA (for example) and trade imperial faction for balt faction
- 2. go to gtob and trade balt for zkeys
- 3. repeat a lot of times
- See what I mean? Idmz 16:10, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
- actually, having him on embark beach would enable visiting him without having all heroes kicked from your group just to convert some points inbetween. No matter for what reason you want to exchange some points it really doesn't matter, if it means you always have to pick your hero group again just for this, then putting him on the beach is a good and easy solution.[[80.137.57.183 19:45, 5 March 2012 (UTC)]]
Guild Hall Version[edit]
Would've been nice if we have one in our guild halls. Don't you think? ~Anonymous
