Doesn't Belong on Wiki[edit]

The fact that we have swearing in a main page article on the wiki now is absurd - the least we can do is separate it from real game content and lore. If the common Luxon name was Fuckson would player use of it justify it's presence here even though people get banned for swearing in the game? 122.104.167.139 00:48, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

Sadly, it probably would warrant an article. Unless Suxon and Kurdick become redirects. We (editors) don't create the terms, or use them often. That's up to the whole GW community to subconsciously do. We simply document things like slang terms, FotM, etc. created by the community. It's not our place to determine crudeness or lack thereof. It should be a redirect, at most. If the user can't figure out that "kurdick" or "suxon" are derogatory, we can point them in the direction of a dictionary. -Auron 00:54, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Also, it isn't the case that the "common Luxon name was Fuckson". Nevertheless, the two words have different impacts, with kurdick being the least offensive.
For categorisation and relevance/consistency's sakes, it may be better having a separate article. --User Brains12 Spiral.png Brains12 \ talk 00:55, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
It's player slang and all other player slang have their own pages instead of polluting articles. If people want it bad enough to be on the wiki let it be on its own page away from everything else. It's not relevant to the scope of the Faction Allegiance articles - which are in game and lore based. If you want to redirect the word Suxon and Kurdick to the faction articles without adding the note to explain it's an insult (as Auron said - it's so obvious it doesn't need stating) I'd be happier with that. My only concern is people will add the note to the allegiance article again. 122.104.167.139 01:11, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Well, considering the fact that we do not have a policy that enforces this kind of censorship; I say keep these articles. If we redirect this, than we should redirect all other slang articles like Wammo and things to the like. I also agree with Brains point about categorisation and relevance. --ShadowphoenixPlease, talk to me; I'm so lonely ;-; 17:14, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
Brilliant article, I didn't know they were called like this ^^ I am, of course, a luxon myself :D File:User Horsedrowner avatar.jpg horsedrowner 07:58, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
Personally, I have heard Queerzick a lot but never this. Go figure. - Elder Angelus 21:02, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

I think I created that insult. Since when has it become official? Ninjas In The Sky 12:04, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Um...[edit]

Kursucks? I've been a Luxon for a very, very long time and I've never heard anyone say that. Not only that, but it was added by an anon and is just plain dumb. Anyone second my motion to remove it? --User Vorith Shadow Ursan.jpg Vorith (talkcontribs) 00:08, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

I disagree with this, I'm luxon and I hear Kursuck alot more than kurdick. Besides, kursuck makes more sense.{{unsigned|Amantis}

Why has no one put Kurshits?

The page[edit]

Is it relevant? I've never heard this in my three years of playing. I don't see why it should be on the wiki Demonic Fahrir talk 08:03, 17 September 2010 (UTC)

Its mainly used in Alliance battles. Do you do those often? If not it could explain why you've not heard the term before. --Master BriarUser Briar Sig 2.jpg 08:10, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
at least half my time was in AB ~.~ Only versions i heard were treehuggers, turtle*ers and suxons. Is it really worth a page? Demonic Fahrir talk 08:16, 17 September 2010 (UTC)
Odd. Well It isn't a very common term, But we do have one for suxon, So I suppose we have to have one for Kurdick. Idk.--Master BriarUser Briar Sig 2.jpg 09
