Talk:Lightbringer Signet
Who actually uses this?[edit]
i've never seen anyone with that in the skill bar... —ZerphaThe Improver 12:29, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- I used it once, just to try it out, its never been used again Cassius 22:08, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- They should make it If a foe is within earshot you gain 1 adrenaline and 2 energy for each rank of Lightbringer you have attained. If you are within range of a demonic servant of Abaddon, you gain an addition 1 strike of adrenaline, plus 1 adrenaline and 2 energy for each rank of Lightbringer you have attained. or would that be overpowered? MageMontu 22:17, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- It would be a decent spike of adrenalin and energy, but we're still talking about something very conditional, with a 25 second recharge time (and elite!) I'll take my Dragon Slash and go home now, thank you. :) Honestly, they need to start from scratch with this skill. Just about every GW:EN PvE skill is unconditional, and so much more powerful that this. --Mystisteel 22:38, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

If they made it non-elite with a faster recharge it might give warrior a reason to run Decapitate. As it is, it's basically Nightfall-only, PvE-only Rage of the Ntouka for warriors, and a shitty version of Glyph of Energy for casters (as far as energy management). -- Mafaraxas 08:08, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
I found a use![edit]
I got this "Elite" skill and after I achieved Holy LB status, I used it just to see what it does. It takes up a spot for your Elite Skill. Thats it! Come on Anet. Pul--leeeese. IrishRedneck 21:46, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
- Wow, that's great man! Dark Morphon(contribs) 13:55, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
Actual use.[edit]
At maximum LB Rank, this basically provides three pips of energy regeneration.
- if your build doesn't use/need an elite(unlikely) then this would be good energy/adren management white fighting in the realm of torment/Domain of Anguish Tenri 16:54, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- Ignoring the fact that you need to be adjacent to the enemy for it to work. -- Mafaraxas 18:47, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- i guess i mean more for mele characters than casters using it. there isn't much benefit for casters Tenri 21:40, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- Ok so you can have star burst and LB sig on your bar at the same time sounds kinda hard considering they both elites Tenri 04:18, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Why won't the Seeker of Whispers give me this skill? I don't need to be exactly rank 3 LB do I? If that be the case, that may be a tad impossible considering I have rank 8... King steve 15:13, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- Because they finally realized how bad this skill is as well b.r // talk 15:14, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- Nevermind, I found out what was up with thatKing steve 15:42, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
Not Elite Anymore, Affect on Title Track[edit]
Since this isn't elite anymore, how will this affect the skill hunter title track? For those who already have the title, did the number of elites needed go down?70.26.134.70 00:51, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- Nevermind, just read that they decreased it by 1.70.26.134.70 00:59, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- Since I got all Elonian elites before the update, I'm now listed as having 141/140, despite the fact that one is no-longer elite.
- I hope they fix the 141/140 bug soon. Bug are anoying, worst when you keep seeing them. --Bob 02:19, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

One of two?[edit]
I'm pretty sure this is wrong. Hundred Blade became prior to release, and if we're counting public betas, I remember a few Nightfall skills becoming elite after the PvP beta weekend. -- Gordon Ecker 10:12, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
Well, its actually useful now...[edit]
If you are fighting in the RoT or DoA, this is gread great adrenaline/e management for melee classes. You can use if you aren't using all 3 of your PvE skills and if you have a slot open. I just put it in instead of a res and bring a couple res scrolls instead. Justin6 14:03, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
Lightbringer's Focus???[edit]
Seeker of Whispers [Lightbringer Rank]: You're now a Brave Lightbringer. You can now be trusted with a secret of the Order of Whispers: Lightbringer's Focus. This skills will help you when fighting Abaddon's servants.
Lightbringer's Focus pl0x? Maybe it didn't use to be a signet or what? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Paddymew (talk).
Trivia[edit]
This is not the only elite skill to have had its elite status changed. See Hundred Blades to see what I mean. Also, see GWW:1RV please. One revert per person until a consensus is reached. The Cabal 13:09, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
- Iirc, it was non-elite during beta/preview weekend, then changed for final. So, it's a question of was it "released" during beta, or for the final boxed version? --JonTheMon 16:05, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
- As Gordon mentioned above, if you were to include changes from the public betas, it still wouldn't be one of two. 66.190.15.232 07:30, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
- The page says "since the release of Guild Wars Prophecies". LB Signet is the only skill to have changed elite status after the release of the game. Same applies to Nightfall beta skills vs. Nightfall release. Sounds pretty clear to me- only clarification that might need to be made is after the release of a skill's respective campaign (since NF beta was after Prophecies release). 96.39.1.7 02:42, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- This is the only skill the have its elite status changed due to player complaints? Really though, I like the "anon above me"'s wording. At least more than the current wording. Beckett 04:47, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

Type of skill[edit]
if its a signet why does it have a normal skill picture?user:hubbard
- The icon was probably made before the skill became a signet. The Seeker of Whispers even says he's giving you Lightbringer's Focus. 66.190.15.232 03:58, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
