Slyvari?[edit]

The mural from Ganadra looks just like a slyvari. Anyone else think that? Lanky 10:10, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

The Sylvari are leafy creatures that sprout from a tree; Melandru is a leafy nature goddess often depicted sprouting from a tree. Similarities in appearence are a given, I think. --Mme. Reaper? Pfft. FARMER.Donelle 10:16, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
I think at last Melandru will be given her due equality with the other gods. She should also be emblematic of Communing since that implies "natural" themes. You (Ritualists) don't "commune" with (the) God [of Death], but with nature in general. -Jarrkha 02:49, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
I dunno... ritualists commune with the dead. That's more relevant to Grenth than to Melandru. --79.171.74.8 03:04, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
It's rather implied that binding ritual spirits are spirits of the deceased, so I think Grenth may be more appropriate for Communing.~ WELL HELLO Chao 19:44, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
The communing by rits is done differently then the nature rituals cast by rangers. Rits cast spirits that will actually do stuff like attack. Ranger spirits are environment effects, and thus nature. 84.85.197.187 16:36, 31 October 2009 (UTC) :::::

Wardens[edit]

That wandering tribe, might it be anything like the Wardens? --RoyHarmon 18:04, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

I think the Wardens are just corupted Druids (though once servants of Melandru at one time)--Lord randy taylor 20:35, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Murals (generic applies to all gods really..)[edit]

I'm trying to find a Mural of Melandru + Grenth to extract with texmod, I found the balthazar and dwayna ones in the caverns beneath lion's arch, and the lyssa in the breach, but I don't honestly remember where the other two gods are. any tips anyone? All five, excluding Grenth's second stained glass one, can be found in Ascalon City, surrounding Symon the Scribe. Konig/talk 19:27, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
