Introduction[edit]

I understand this was introduced with the recent update, but is there any more information on this and the other miniatures? Seems a bit sudden. Zungx 15:18, 23 May 2010 (UTC)

Model[edit]

Anyone know if this moddel is bugged for most people like Miniature Confessor Isaiah?

No, Isaiah is buggy because most people haven't loaded his file yet because the actual Isaiah isn't in the game yet. -- User Kirbman sig.png Kirbman 02:07, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Chubby little man isnt he?69.107.74.43 02:15, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

wait a second[edit]

Do you indeed get this miniature as loot? How does this work flavorwise? Uhm...is Dorian maybe doing some self-promotion by providing his followers with Cofessor Dorian action figures aside from the common weaponry? Apparently his plan didn't work out that great though, i didn't see any member of the White Mantle walking around with that miniature taken out yet. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 14:33, 25 May 2010 (UTC)

how can it be him promoting himself when he dies? —Zanter dexder

Never heard of promotion from The Mists? - I've been told everyone there is in marketing these days. --Manassas User Manassas Mannysig.png 13:57, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

Farming?[edit]

I'm not sure if this is silly to ask, but has anyone found a reliable build for farming the WiK Mantle/Peacekeepers in hopes of getting greens/minis/confessor's orders? I ask because I know that they change builds every time you zone. Also, even if you don't have a build to share, does anyone know a good spot for farming these mobs (say with SoS or something)? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks! 67.85.184.98 16:02, 26 May 2010 (UTC) (this is Ailina not signed in)

I farm them outside Beetletun (Where Cerris is) with SoS. The build is on my user page, or you're welcome to look me up in game. --Manassas User Manassas Mannysig.png 13:55, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

Drop Rate[edit]

I suspect the drop rate for these could be very very low. I've just finished taking 32 characters through WiK and never got a single green mini drop. This could be bad luck of course, or maybe minis just drop when doing explorable areas or WiK daily bounties. 81.141.153.204 09:28, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

The drop rate is very low (and it's much lower for the minis than the weapons). You might also consider how many opportunities you really had to see a green drop, even after taking 32 toons through this part of Beyond: how many keys dropped? (in HM, how many lockpicks?) how many greens from non-WiK bosses do you see after doing 50 or 60 VQs? And I'm sure your heroes took a fair share of drops. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 10:06, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
In agreement that they do not drop outside of explorable areas and only when WiK main not active - ie not in WiK main missions. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.141.104.233 (talk • contribs) at 06:55, 8 July 2012 (UTC).
Actually, I know of people who got them when WiK was first introduced (during the quests) and people who farm them while one bounty is active... so they drop in Kryta-explorable areas while WiK is active and also special mini-mission instances that are only available during one of the quests. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 17:42, 8 July 2012 (UTC)

Some real data[edit]

Well I stand by my assumption that the drop rate for any WiK mini is less than that of the mini polar bear if indeed they can be obtained from WiK main missions and storyline. On the wiki page for the mini polar bear it says the drop rate is less than 0.02%. Let's say for arguments sake it is 0.01%. To stand a 50% chance of getting one, one would need to do the quest 500 times. Now I know the average number of enemies in WiK main story - I've counted groups on several characters - it averages at 1215. If they all have a chance of dropping a mini (peacekeepers or confessors) the actually number of chances I have had for 32 characters is 1215 X 32 / 6 (six is the AVERAGE number of heros used - some quests allow 8, others 6). This is 6480. At 50 % chance of getting any WiK mini, the drop rate must be at least 10 times less than doing the polar bear quest over and over. Sorry for not signing these musings - they stopped my wiki log in some time ago. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.141.104.169 (talk) at 09:04, 25 July 2012 (UTC).

Yeah, but you should still sign anyway (~~~~) to register your comments as coming from the particular ip you're currently using. Yeah, I know - non-static ip, but still. Who were you? ;) --snogratUser Snograt signature.png 09:58, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
It's not really meaningful to compare the drop rate of an object from a chest vs dropping from a foe. It takes a minimum of 8-12 minutes to even get to the end-chest for the polar bear, but it takes no time at all to find WiK foes. Plus, as noted by 81.141 above, there are 1000s of WiK troops that die just by following the storyline (never mind by claiming WiK bounties or farming).
What's more useful is to compare the drop rate of the minis to that of other items that might drop, notably WiK green weapons and (in HM) tomes and lockpicks. I haven't counted, but I can tell you that in all the bounties (across multiple characters every three weeks), I've only seen four greens drop (and now minis), but the usual number of tomes and lockpicks. We know the rates for tomes and picks are low enough to be difficult to determine, so we can surmise that the minis have even lower drop rates. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 02:35, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

Sorry but I agree with the original wiki user. I have taken 50 characters through all of War in Kryta and am yet to see a mini. I've had about 10 green weapon drops so unless the drop rate is very very low I'd guess that these are no longer available. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.205.252.177 (talk • contribs) at 15:23, 28 September 2016‎ (UTC).

There is a lot of speculation on this page. I've done 23 characters so far through WiK with no mini drops. I don't think these are still available. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.205.252.144 (talk • contribs) at 07:36, 26 February 2017‎ (UTC).
