I have just got my second one after finishing the really long quest where you have to gather the Norn by doing 3 or so other big quests. I'm pretty sure you get the last 2 by gathering the Asura and the Ebon Vanguard by doing these same long quests, consisting of smaller quests, for them. Okay, here are the names of the quests. The overall quest is Against the Destroyers. Within this quest you must befriend the Norn, the Asura and the Ebon vanguard to fight against the Destroyers. The names of the quests are: Northern Allies (Norns), The Knowledgeable Asura (Asuras) and The Missing Vanguard (Ebon Vanguard). I have completed Northern Allies and recieved one Monumental Tapestry, so I'm 99% sure the other 2 will come from the Asuran and Ebon Vanguard quests I just named. But since you can't see the description or the reward for the Asura and EV quests until the game goes live on Augusts 31st, I can't tell for the last 1%. Are you sure you didn't just get it from Gwen after looking in the pool, and forget? They seem to make a pretty big deal from you getting one. You do need five in total though, and Gwen's plus one for each of the subquests would only make four- so either the fifth is a random drop, or you get it from completing the overall questline. --202.78.147.176 21:15, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

You don't need 5, but 4. The Monument of Honor (the middle one) already has it's banner when you get there. So you need 4 more, the one from Gwen and three from the quests I mentioned earlier.Alovich 15:49, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

The best way to get all the Monumental Tapestries is to take 4 chars up to gwen and trade them all over to one character. That way one character is fully unlocked. --Primeval Sentinel Talk 08:20, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

The one I got from a random drop wasn't after talking to Gwen when looking into the pool. I got it from a drop in the very first zone when I entered the preview, before I'd even reached the HoM. Item Type

As i couldnt find a item type to match it is currently listed as Quest item. As i believe this to be wrong I ask that someone sugest a better item type. ----Bertz The Slayer

Actually other items like that, such as Amulet of the Mists, Stolen Sunspear Armor, etc., are already labeled quest items. Also, quests are the only currently known way to obtain one. So it should be alright. --Valshia 17:28, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

I think you may find that the nearest item type to match Monumental Tapestries is Quest Reward Trophy which is a subset of the item Type: Reward trophy.--Bearz 22:01, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

Missing Tapestry

I completed the main storyline, but I seem to have only obtained 3 tapestries along the way. I no longer have the quests that offer them (seeing as how I beat the game) nor do any of the quest NPCs offer one to me. It's not in my inventory or stash, and I only have one PvE character that I play so I haven't accidentally transferred it. I haven't destroyed any items lately, and I couldn't have sold it.

Any ideas on how to obtain it? I know I got the one from Gwen, but I forget if I've obtained the others. If I had to guess I'd say I missed Langmar's. 70.49.39.171 22:33, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Deleted Tapestry

you can buy them from other players, other than that I don't know. Roflmaomgz 03:43, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

Tagging
