Quest completes itself?

I just did this quest but I accidentally went the wrong way and ran into a couple giant mobs on the way to the boss just after Vael runs past with the pheromones. I think he maybe kills the boss himself? I am not sure however the quest just seemed to complete itself after a while. 203.94.61.143 11:42, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

Bugged out

Did this last night. Vael runs by, huuuuuge group of grawl run to the beacon thing in the middle and then....stand there. The quest log never told me to go in, but after realizing grawl and charr were not going to fight each other, I just pulled the grawl into the char, got attacked by both and killed the boss in the ensuing chaos. If this happens you DO still get the quest update for killing the boss. -Ruse 18:27, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
