Talk:Sinister Dragon Mask
Fantastic new mask, in fact it's my favourite. Also enjoying the (from what I can tell) much higher resolution texture on it, it's very detailed. Looks great in green and in black Future 09:31, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- i think its stupid, it looks like it is ripping off another one.--Icyyy Blue 09:34, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- which makes this one less great? I don't see how. Also there are many hats that look alike (see: 2 pumpkin crowns, 2 yule caps, grenth horns, zombie/skull facepaint) Future 09:48, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- As far as dragon masks go, this one's definitely my favorite, and overall it's not bad-looking either. » Keneth O'Connor, 09:53, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- Not too bad i supose. Also; the quality is nice mainly because the GW2 art team made them :P (like the Shining blade and White mantle outfits) --Neil2250 09:56, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- Well im on the fence about this mask, I like the way it looks and the idea of a "evil dragon" but still would never wear it --Azreal of Skyrim 10:24, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- It's a nice mask but still i think the first Dragon mask is better <3 The Holy Dragons 12:48, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- All the first masks are better, but this one isn't as bad as I thought it's gonna be. Markus Clouser 12:50, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- The detail and polish in the newer masks is far greater than that of the original masks. They aren't even in the same league as the last two years. This mask looks very nice, the first one might have a more appealing design, but it's polish and aesthetics are kinda poor. 114.78.8.119 12:52, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- It looks like a constipated dragon... 98.206.174.122 13:30, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- It could have been much worse, it actually isn't too shabby at all. --Munkypoo7 13:35, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- This is an awesome mask - easily the best one made. Good work Anet. Lanier 15:37, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- 8k > this. Meh
- it looks like a dragon on crack, lmao :D tazer 16:44, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

- It's a modified version of an old mask that was a modified version of an even older mask...
- I like this mask, but prefer the older masks. Tong2 22:39, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- The mask may be a decent mask but it looks an awful lot like the first dragon festival mask. At least it is different, unlike the Canthan New Year's festival mask (Lion's mask)which is the same every year. At least its not as bad as flower wreath with candles, but the mask is one of my favorite souvenirs from festivals. Each year they keep getting worse and worse... 70.189.106.1 01:21, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
- I agree that this definitely isn't the best mask out there, but it looks quite nice when you dye it black and combine it with Monk Elite Luxon armor :) 24.150.101.241 15:29, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

Made by GW2 art team source?[edit]
Is there a source for this? How is the GW2 art team different from the art team that made every other mask considering the GW2 art team is mostly the same people who worked on GW1? 114.78.8.119 16:57, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- It is basicly the same people as the GW1 art team; but since the art team in GW2 had to up thier game because GW2 is an entirely new game, they've used thier new skills in GW1 (seen in the WM and SB costumes) to make this new hat. Zzz. might be wrong, i might be talking shit. but just trust me. --Neil2250 17:04, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- in other words, no source ;)122.20.162.103 01:25, 4 September 2010 (UTC)Ryoko
Zelda[edit]
Anyone else thinking of Majora's Mask when looking at this Dragon Mask? poke | talk 10:48, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
- Now that you mention it, if you look at it straight on and imagine it being flat... The same basic heart shape, the rendering of the eyes, and the spikes protruding from the same angles to the same directions. I wouldn't say that Majora's Mask inspired this one, but I do see a basic resemblance. FleshAndFaith 19:53, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
Possible Bug[edit]
I don't know if this is personal to me, but the mask appears to be unremovable. I put on the mask and now when I put a new piece of head gear on, nothing happens. The mask just stays there. I've tried zoning, logging off, restarting my computer but nothing works. Please tell me if this has happened to anyone else and if not then why the hell this is happening to just me. Thanks. --Evil guy563 06:32, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
- Click the icon next to the mask for hiding options. Manifold 15:38, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
Thanks so much guys. I haven't played in a while a didn't realise this >.< --Evil guy563 15:20, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
