Talk:Stalwart Insignia

I have a question about Sentry's insignia. If you use them on 4 armor pieces except chest (for +15 health), do they stack and will work like +40 (4x+10) which halves all incomming dmg except armor ignoring damage (http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Avatar_of_Balthazar)? And does Stalwart insignia also counts vs ranged damage or only against melee? robertjan 04:02, 4 June 2008 (EDT)

No, insignia do not stack, they only affect the piece they are placed on. Any physical damage that is dealt against you is affected by Stalwart insignia.--Wyn's Talk page Wynthyst 08:15, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

But doesn't this mean you gain total +40 armor extra, what will reduce dmg with 50%?

No, you gain +10 for the piece you place it on.--Wyn's Talk page Wynthyst 08:33, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Armor Cap[edit]

Does this stack as part of the armor cap? For instance, Would having these on your armor and then using Dolyak Signet Make these useless or is the stalwarts bonus inherent on the armor itself. Im trying to figure out if these would be more useful for farming as warrior Vs Knights insignia. --BriarUser Briar BriarSig4.pngFlame Me 05:55, 22 March 2010 (UTC)

Armor cap only applies to skill stacking, this is not a skill. Misery 06:56, 22 March 2010 (UTC)

Stalwarts vs Knights[edit]

Which is better? --Wazzup Yo Homi 00:38, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

The poster will probably never read this but you, the reader, may be wondering the same. Stalwart is 25% damage reduction, while knight is a flat -3 damage. So if you are facing only physical damage and taking less than 12 damage, knight will be a better choice.--Ruine User Ruine Eternelle Ruine Eternelle.jpg Eternelle 18:03, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
