Talk:The Final Confrontation
rewards: also gives miku as a hero[edit]
self explanitory...05:40, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
We just exchange one pyscho for another[edit]
I don't know who's dumber, Miku for leaving her brother in charge of the Ministry of Purity. Or us for letting her. Ramei Arashi 05:49, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
- I'd say the entire latter half of WoC doesn't make much sense, period. Twisted as it seems that Ashu is the biggest winner out of WoC story, having Ashu in charge of the Ministry might be a better alternative than other zealots who sure will enshrine Reiko a martyr and possibly leads to civil war in Cantha. I was hoping ANet will give us Reiko and/or Ashu, along with Miku, to be our new Me/Rt hero... --Kgptzac 06:08, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
- Cantha is still going to become an oppressive society. I think what Ashu learned is to be more subtle. He'll just be better at hiding his true intentions. Ramei Arashi 06:54, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
- Well we do know that Usoku, son of Kisu, will make Reiko's dreams come true, don't we? Maybe with even less subtlety. Kanda 11:00, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

Reiko is a guild wars 2 mesmer! Clones and all.
- Hope not, seeing as she was utterly pathetic as an enemy. 95.151.232.206 18:32, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
Cartographer[edit]
This quest takes you to the actual arena part of Shing Jea Arena, making it a good chance to explore there for cartographer.Miskav 14:35, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
- Yes. i never play PvP and had no idea that this island was here. My Warrior achieved grandmaster Cartographer without this area ( fyi ).( Jaxx Hammer )--166.250.101.3 01:53, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
This battle should be repeatable![edit]
It's a really fun battle. I'd like to see it be repeatable, even if just for some exp and gold. -- 76.181.167.16 07:48, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
- It is quite fun indeed, but it's too easy. She should copy multiple team members at the same time. :P And needs to be repeatable. InfestedHydralisk 00:40, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- I loved The Final Confrontation also, Couldent believe it when I see copies of my Mercenary Hero's that was epic. Love the Reiko artwork also. Would love to be able to redo this quest on the same character once completed. Ace Loves It
- To be honest, I found this fight waaaaay to easy, even Shiro was harder than this. Quiet the letdown after such an epic adventure. Still the mechanics of the fight itself were amazing!
- A little too easy as IH mentioned (<5mins NM), but still good fun. A nice trade-off with the SJM raid. I loved the reward dialogue.
- Miko "We've already overthrown a ruler together, what more could we get into? Overthrowing one of the gods? Heh."
- Player "Well..." xD I wonder if you respond that way if you haven't completed NF? Sardaukar 12:43, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
- Make it repeatable. -- Zayeban 22:43, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
Phantasm[edit]
This also can get casts on allies from summoning stones.--Kilaa1000 10:36, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- I can also confirm that it gets cast on Asura and Ebon Vanguard summons. --Jyotir Managatim 08:21, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
Mesmers of the future[edit]
Reiko's special skills seem very very similar to the mechanics of the gw2 Mesmer...
Perhaps it is worthy of note... Aqua (T|C) 20:50, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
Summoned creatures: I didn't get around to checking this[edit]
But someone should test to see if the clones and phantoms can get insta-gibbed with Gaze of Fury :3 --Ph03n1x 07:41, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
- Are Phantoms/Clones mechanically treated as Summoned Creatures?! If Swap, Spiritual Pain, and Consume Soul triggers on them, then its reasonable to assume ALL anti-summons are trigger by them. As for Gaze of Fury/Signet of Binding, it depends if the game treats it as a minion/spirit/other, but will gladly test that at next opportunity. --Falconeye 20:15, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
- They are Summoned creatures, not Spirits. Gaze of Fury and Signet of Binding works only agains spirits. (Checked) -- Sagi 21:51, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
Redemption of the Lost[edit]
I'm wondering what happens if the party leader has not completed that quest, but another party member has, do the am fah spawn y/n? (I've completed the hm version of redemption if anyone wants to invite me to check :p ) File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpg Chieftain Alex 23:26, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
Tactics[edit]
Just finished the final WOC mission in NM, tweaking my heroes on each run (10 total). Since this and the main pages are a bit lite in suggestions (the HM version has more), here's what worked very well for me: 1) Bring no hexes, as Reiko has Hex Eater Vortex that will do AoE damage and strip enchantments; 2) Bring deep wound to trigger Miku's Venom Fang. (I used Chest Thumper on my para hero, and others on my warrior and sin); 4) Bring lots of conditions (especially cracked armor to trigger the aforementioned Chest Thumper) and the already noted anti-summons skills (Consume Soul, Spiritual Pain, and Holy Spear. From my experience, summoned creatures went down fast; and 5) Put Mantra of Resolve and Power Drain on most, if not all, casters. There is lots of enemy interrupting and casters here, and the Power Drain serves as both a rupt and energy management (to counter the penalty from the stance). For what it's worth, my basic team was: Xandra with Consume Soul, Destruction, and various damage and weapon spells (especially Warmonger's Weapon; Master of Whispers with Plague Signet to spread and manage conditions (again no hexes); Gwen with Extend Conditions (to spread and, well, extend conditions, works great for any burning), various interrupts and armor ignoring damage (Chaos Storm), and Hex Eater Signet for support; Vekk with Thunderclap and various energy management enchantments and damage; Morgahn with "Incoming!" (your team will be running around a lot to avoid enemy AoE), the aforementioned spear attacks, and various support shouts; Dunkoro with Blessed Light (an underrated skill imo, as it heals and removes a hex/condition, both plentiful here with fast recharge); and Tahlkora with Life Sheath, Protective Spirit.
