If you got the skill unlock-pack can you just buy this skill from someone?

What do you mean? Which skill? If it's not elite and you have the unlock pack for factions, you should be able to buy it from any factions skill trainer. If it is elite, you have to cap it or use an Elite Tome. Also, please sign your posts by typing four tildes (~~~~) ¬ Wizårdbõÿ777(talk) 03:06, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

Cartographing[edit]

There are areas of 'mist' that normally would have been reachable via the undercity, but as the undercity is now a separate area and Xaquang Skyway dosen't reach those areas of 'misting', is it impossible to explore these areas for cartographer title? Mortsu 11:22, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

I am wondering this too. Specifically over the zone portal at the NE corner (which is not accessible from Xaquang Skyway). It seems unreachable. 96.61.78.97 06:44, 1 May 2014 (UTC)
have a look at User God Of Fissures CMECantha2013 4.jpg CME (cantha 2014) - if this map hasn't got it uncovered, then its probably impossible. If you're referring to the slightly fuzzy bit in the NE corner that looks like its above a river - that is uncovered, the map just looks like that.
Theres a large bit accessible from the vizunah square mission, but I don't think you're talking about that. -Chieftain Alex 09:32, 1 May 2014 (UTC)
Looking at your map, actually I think I'm talking about the piece that's over Vizunah Square Local Quarter. I'd forgotten about that and my character is foreign so that must be it. Of course it is inaccessible then. I was able to get cartographer without it though. 96.61.78.97 21:03, 2 May 2014 (UTC)

Bug[edit]

Most of the bridges tend to have a blind spot where your character shall go invisible. I would give more detail but i've only found 2 occurances in the past 2 days (And only been there twice). It first occured on the first bridge that you encounter setting off from Senji's Corner, I was helping a friend and he said 'hey, did you just turn invisible then?!' and I told him it was probly his computer not loading the avatar I had just used. Secondly it occured when capping Animate Flesh Golem, I was killed the boss capped the elite, flagged my heroes away and went over to the bridge to print screen my newly found companion (A tiny Flesh Golem) when me AND the golem turned invisible. So i was fiddling around with which direction I look and even though I hadn't moved I could still go invisible or visible depends on which side I was looking at my char from. Vanquishing Notes[edit]

This place is very easy to vanquish. Just bring enough healers for the brotherhood (like a healer w/ UA and a ER Protter). Then go for Mages first then Knights. The hardest part of this run is the mantids. Take out the monk boss at first if possible. He's very difficult to bring down. I recommend constant KD or anti-casting skills such as Backfire. The easiest part of the run is Vermin. They are extremely easy to kill and I killed about 30 at once fast with Splinter Weapon and no one in my party died. --98.95.75.138 22:35, 28 November 2010 (UTC)

162 foes, 41min, vanq/map. Despite the large number of physicals, you will want some good anti-caster. The monk boss and the jade casters are annoying. This zone is not particularly dangerous/hard as most mob sizes are ~4. Justice 05:48, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

When I was doing vanquish today (i went from Bukdek Byway) I came to Orosen rt-boss from above. I have seen him and his party in the from of me, but suddenly he disappeared. I killed all the stuff in the area but vq still not done. Finaly Orosen, his crew, and another party of 4 jade guys were waiting in the front of Senji Corner entrance. Is it supposed to happen or was it just weird behaviour?--Calixos (talk) 21:10, 20 March 2015 (UTC)

NPCs can be invisible when they're walking on bridges - you'd still see them on the compass if this happened. The route he takes typically leads him straight to Senji's yes. I seem to recall accidentally zoning into Senji's the first time I VQed Xaquang :P -Chieftain Alex 21:18, 20 March 2015 (UTC)

Winds of Change[edit]

Don't the Jade Brotherhood and Am Fah foes become better with Winds of Change? If they do, shouldn't this get a winds of change version page? Jafar 16:11, 25 September 2011 (UTC)

Still the same mobs as before, as far as I can tell. No page split necessary. -- Hong 17:40, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
Both Jade Brotherhood bosses are absent after WoC, along with a few mobs with updated builds for Am Fah and Jade Brotherhood. Mora 18:32, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
I'm not finding any change in spawns after completion of WoC pt 2. --File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 23:10, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
I can't seem to get the zone to change, but I'm sure it was different earlier this week when I was here multiple times for the ZV. Maybe the update changed it though, so no need to split unless someone figures it out. Mora 23:51, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
Maybe it's only different during Light My Fire. Jafar 14:14, 2 October 2011 (UTC)

Map notes[edit]

Is it just me, or is the mark for Shreader Sharptongue on the map nowhere near the guy? Legionaireb 03:25, 7 February 2012 (UTC)

Fix'd. Not sure why it was there. ~FarloUser Farlo Triad.pngTalk 04:20, 7 February 2012 (UTC)

Possible meanings of the name[edit]

Firstly, click the listen/speaker button here and here to hear the pronunciations.
The "quang" part of the name most probably means "light" ("guang").
The "xa" part of the name could either have been inspired by "shan" (flash/flashing), or by "sha" (kill). If it's the former ("shan guang"), then the area name could mean something like "glaring/dazzling skyway". If it's the latter ("sha guang"), then the area name could probably mean "skyway which kills light", which makes sense as the tall buildings block out light to the Undercity.
