Vanquishing / Guardian Builds[edit]

Here are a few vanquishing team builds I've been using with my assassin. All hero/henched so far.

4-man Shing Jea island[edit]

For a really easy vanquishing of the 4-man areas of Shing Jea island (may not be ideal, but it worked quite well for me -- dazed helps immensely). I'm not sure if Dunkoro ever uses Signet of Devotion, but he loves Signet of Synergy, and a 128-point total heal for no energy isn't bad at all.

I also used this with success for The Great Northern Wall and Fort Ranik (subtituting the Jagged Bones build for Olias), but it fell apart in Ruins of Surmia, with the Fire Callers. I'm thinking I need

  • Better interrupts
  • Anti-knockdown
  • Better armor against fire damage
  • A Flesh Golem

6-man Shing Jea island[edit]

For easy vanquishing of the 6-man areas of Shing Jea island. I got the hero builds from the GWGuru forums. Tin Dao Kaineng will wipe your party unless you use all of your flags to spread out your henchmen, but he's not a problem once you daze him. I used the warrior and monk hench.

Kaineng[edit]

So far I've vanquished Bukdek Byway, Xaquang Skyway, and Nahpui Quarter. The most notable problem here is the lack of a protection monk. I run Tahlkora with this build, she seems to run it quite well:

I take Olias with the Jagged Bones build above. I used Norgu with the same build as above with success in Bukdek Byway and Nahpui Quarter, but switched to a BHA ranger to keep Orosen, Tranquil Acolyte dazed longer in Xaquang Skyway:

I use the same assassin build as above, and take the healer hench, Talon, Kai Ying, and Eve. Careful positioning helps avoid too much dragon stomp damage.
