Having seen the devastating nuking power of the Elementalist I eventually decided to make one myself. I created Merlina in Prophecies and when I made it to Lion's Arch I immediately made the jump to Nightfall (A game that I was more familiar with). I ran a cookie cutter Searing Flames build for most of Nightfall and then decided I wanted to be a little different and switched to water magic.
