The PvE Cripstorm warrior uses the ingenuity of knockdown and the cripple condition, based on the original Hamstorm build. Originally intended as a joke, it has slowly crept its way into the meta, and has now become a commonplace build in every corner of Tyria.

Equipment[edit]

  • Armor
    • Knight's or Radiant Armor, with a Rune of Clarity so daze ends quicker.
    • Your armor must contain at least three Herald insignias.
  • Weapons
    • A Crippling Long Sword of Fortitude with 15^50 (it must be a Long Sword or the build doesn't work!)
    • A Tribal Shield with a "Shield Handle of Valor". Because more health helps when you're hexed. Tribal Shields will also strike fear into the hearts of your opponents. If you do not have a Tribal Shield, you could also use an Emboldened Carapace Shield or a Woven Shield but these have a much lower level of terror. Actually, no. Only use a Tribal Shield.
    • A swiss army knife
    • A flask of warm coffee, if you get lost in the harshness of the mountains. Dwayna will not save you.
    • Battlepick

Usage[edit]

Smear yourself in war paint, and advance the enemy camp. Unsheath all weaponry at this point, and begin to approach the leader. If they do not comply to your demands, use Flail followed closely by Warrior's Endurance.

Gain enough adrenaline to use Low Blow, and use "You Move Like a Dwarf!" whilst swinging. Glare at your opponent as they writhe in the snow. Use Snow Storm to rain a shower of frozen H20 upon the enemy, and follow this closely by Knee Cutter if they have a sufficient level of terror in their eyes (if they do not have terror in their eyes, the skill will not be worth using).

Finish the combination with Final Thrust and the non-believer should fall to his cut knees. If the enemy has not died, repeat the combination, or simply commit seppku. You have shamed your master.

Counters[edit]

  • Your impiety
  • Your cowardice
  • Nothing
  • Satan

Variants[edit]

  • You cannot alter this build.
  • You could, nay, should replace Lion's Comfort with Fear Me! for infadel smiting. Their false gods will not repremand them.

Notes[edit]

If you didn't realise this was a joke build, please... I have nothing against euthenasia.
