Guild page tagging

Hey, i am under the impression that at present...the template used for guild pages not in line with policy is {{bad guild page}} however you seem to be tagging them with the other. The current discussion seems to be taking place, at least in part here. Until its resolved i think we should stick with it as it is to keep continuity since their are already 112 pages like this. --ChronicinabilitY 20:43, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

I am firmly opposed to using that template. Everything from the name to the content is poor. Biro suggested using the cleanup tag, and since it looks better and helps more, I prefer using it. Since I'm not about to start throwing "bad guild" (page) templates around, I'll refrain from tagging those articles. -Auron My Talk 22:34, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

I understand that the template is far from perfect, however i feel that it is better for us to stick with the same template as we have been using since we had to suddenly create something due to the suprise update. The template can be altered etc, but until a firm policy is in place, we should at least all use the same template, so that when we do decide on a policy we only have to change from one template, not several. --ChronicinabilitY 22:37, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

Chronicinability, there is no policy saying you should or should not blank and/or tag articles in any way. I understand you are only trying to help, but just because {{bad guild page}} was used first does not mean it should be used. LordBiro 12:36, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

If you read what i wrote, i acknowledged that no policy was in place, which is a seperate issue altogether. I am also not trying to say that {{bad guild page}} should be used simply because it was first, if indeed it should be used at all. My only point was to keep continuity and to make it easier once the policy IS in place, that we should stick to one way of doing things. --ChronicinabilitY 18:08, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Oh, while I'm on your talkpage (wow, that sounds almost... dirty) - I swapped out the delete tag you added at Guild:Pirates_of_Blountville for a guild cleanup tag - I checked the link, it's for the guild's website with seems at least moderately developed, so it seems more just like someone not aware of policy wanting to make an entry for their guild. I was going to add the guild cleanup tag, but after thinking for a minute, figured they had no interest in improving the page. If they have enough knowledge to know how to redirect, they'd know enough to put guild templates on. I won't revert it, though I sort of disagree with the cleanup :P -Auron 04:35, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

Jade constructs and SA...

No, not San Antonio, Spectral Agony. They do use it, all of them, Armors, Bows and bosses. Unless you mean this is a recent undocumented update. They used it on me as recently as two weeks ago. Or are you saying that specific boss does not use it? --Karlos 10:52, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

I suspect the quotation marks around the use mean that they don't technically activate the skill, in the same way that Gwen doesn't technically heal people? Maybe..? - BeX 10:55, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

The skill hasn't even been released. I suggest keeping the del tag for the standard 3 days, so anyone that has it bookmarked or linked to or whatnot can change it... then, it gets deleted. Vandalism

Er... I can't really do anything about it tbh :P If continuous vandalism is an issue, bring it up (request a temp protect) at GWW:NOTICE. Edrama sucks, but you're in the right to revert vandalism on your guild's page. -Auron 07:02, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Procedure

Hi Auron. I am fairly new to the procedures of this site, but am computer-literate enough to pick up the format pretty quickly. I see my officer's page is marked for deletion because he has not registered yet (I am making the pages for most of my guild's officers because they don't have time or other conflicting reasons). I was wondering if I needed to wait until they registered a name to do that.
