Hylek Nahualli[edit]
Does it drop Amphibian Garment or Amphibian Robe? Because you added Garment, but you mentioned "Robe" in your edit summary. --Silver Edge 08:04, 10 January 2015 (UTC)
- I shouldn't have edited Hylek Nahualli. I was only observing drops by Ophil Heket at the time. Ophil Nahualli (their counterpart) dropped Garments, not Robes. At least, based on the few drops I did get. Blue Totoro 10:15, 10 January 2015 (UTC)
Category:Not orphaned images[edit]
I've been cleaning this category up because it looks like a lot of people uploaded an otherwise orphaned image and didn't remove the template when they later linked to it. I've left the tags on images that are only linked from User space and ArenaNet employee pages, as well as otherwise orphaned files. If you want the tags removed from those types of images as well, feel free, or let me know here. Blue Totoro 09:24, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
- I would have just left the category be, its a lot of effort with zero gain :p -Chieftain Alex 19:51, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
- Oh well??? I sorta skipped past the user images but I also found a handful of images with no point. Blue Totoro 20:09, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
- The category is not meant to be used exclusively. It’s perfectly fine to have an image in that category even if it’s used somewhere else. In that case, it’s just a safety thing, so the file doesn’t get removed in the future even if all links are gone. poke | talk 14:11, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for linking to any redundant image you found. It makes my double-checking go a lot smoother. G R E E N E R 23:24, 22 February 2015 (UTC)
- @Greener: Oh, yeah, sure thing! I think I may have gone a little trigger happy towards the end, there, but I'm glad I could help!
- @poke: Most images have gotten along fine without that template; I'm not really worried about it. There are tons on images in Special:UnusedFiles that have been there for ages but haven't been deleted yet. So long as people don't orphan an image and then go out of their way to slap a delete template on the image, it will probably survive. However, with that in mind, I left the template on images that are linked only by User pages, since I expect those to be more unstable than normal articles. Blue Totoro 23:31, 22 February 2015 (UTC)

Shining Blade War Horn[edit]
On its talk page (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Talk:Shining_Blade_War_Horn) it's also being questioned whether monks can be summoned. Have you ever seen it happen? I'm just curious, not attacking or challenging you. Steve1 (talk) 18:31, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
- I have not, but Neil2250 has, here. I figured all that information on the monk and their skill bar came from somewhere, but it still might be a good idea to slap a verify template on the page, just in case. Blue Totoro 06:01, 11 June 2016 (UTC)
Skills[edit]
Thank you for your help. 3000+ skills to update by myself is daunting; so I notice and appreciate any contributor's aid. Also, if you find or believe that we are missing a "parameter", please inform me and I will create it.--Falconeye (talk) 03:13, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
- Great, thanks! There's a few speed bumps that I've run into, so I'll keep track of what problems I encounter and let you know which ones didn't resolve themselves. Blue Totoro 03:16, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
- Yup, those "speed bumps" are a combination well-meaning intentions and lack of forethought categorization. With Skill quick reference, the idea is work "top-down" instead of "bottom-up", a method which has annoyed me for the last 5+ years. --Falconeye (talk) 04:57, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
- See: Concise description. Thank you for Renewal effect. --Falconeye (talk) 05:43, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
- Cleaned sub-root categories of Category:Skills; buried whatever did not neatly fit into "applied effect" for your convenience. --Falconeye (talk) 10:44, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
- Oh, awesome, thanks! It looks better now, and I won't have to keep backtracking through the whole category to find odd parameters quite as much. Blue Totoro 01:57, 20 June 2016 (UTC)

- Discussion moved to Talk:Skill quick reference#Skill quick reference 2.0 & Skill-infobox categorization. User:Greener intends to "fiddle" with Skill infobox. Thank you! --Falconeye (talk) 09:50, 21 June 2016 (UTC)
- User:Greener/Skill infobox testing exact copy. Perhaps you take a crack at it? ^_^ --Falconeye (talk) 07:36, 22 June 2016 (UTC)
I've added "shadow step" as an effect to the five teleporting skills since they have been changed to be functionally the same thing since February 21, 2013. Anyone object? Blue Totoro 05:40, 24 June 2016 (UTC)
- I agree, from a player's perspective they are now functionally identical. Anet either neglected to explain the "new" technical difference; or too lazy to update the description.
- Also you can use "|special = <insert>" as a temporary work-around if you want to jump-start certain categories. --Falconeye (talk) 07:12, 24 June 2016 (UTC)

Cane[edit]
My intent was to help those not that familiar with the mechanic, since on the (Peppermint) states "...click to remove all Death Penalty. This item...", which could possibly mislead a player to think "Party" including self vs just said player's Dp removal. Hence my highlighting "Your/your". As for the additional line, you're correct as was meant for the "Wintergreen" seeing as that cane does clearly states ..."Your/your" Dp removal.... in the description. Still I think maybe the (your) should still be highlighted, maybe not so bold, but all the same. Thanks again for catching the additional line insertion error. TikkaLeFem (talk) 19:40, 22 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hmm, that makes more sense. It does appear to be the only personal DP removal item that says "all" instead of "your". I'll rewrite it in. Blue Totoro 19:50, 22 March 2017 (UTC)
- Edit: Nevermind, GREENER beat me to it. Blue Totoro 19:52, 22 March 2017 (UTC)

Re: Starter Weapon Images[edit]
Hi there, it appears the images for the starter bow class (shortbow, longbow, recurve) weapons do not exist at this time. If the starter weapons are visually similar to a common weapon type, as noted in the edit comments; I suppose you could copy the file name over.
Tikka LeFem talk (talk) 03:38, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
- I left them as red links so they would be apparent as a problem to be fixed. This wiki likes having separate but duplicate images for each item. I'm not sure why. I don't know how to duplicate an image with a new name, or I would do it myself. That was my intention, anyway. If someone wanted to use Stoneshard_Hornbow.jpg in the Starter Hornbow page, it would be fine by me. — Blue Totoro 06:13, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
- I went ahead and placed the image(s) you noted in the revision comments to the bows. Do hope this helps.
