Hey, thanks for the appreciation of setting up the navbar! Didn't even know thanking for edits was an option - my break from this wiki was quite long, so this feature was new for me. Well, Guild Wars as a whole, and in turn this event, really. Didn't even get around finishing all the quests, haha. You seem to be one of the last bastions here, eh? —Zerpha

- In the game itself? Yeah, it definitely still has a considerable active community. By "here" I was thinking of GWW, which is considerably smaller now, yet where you appear to be one of the regulars when it comes to making edits. —Zerpha

Slots[edit]
I think GW2 has had 69 slots since Heart of Thorns which was 10 years ago. (Really??). I hit the 28 character limit just short of two months ago, so I'm pretty sure it's still 28. Unless you've seen a new rumour? :) — snograt

- That appears to be the case, I too hit the wall of 28 the early part of 2023. I sent a ticket to support to inquire, seeing that there was that comment in the talk page, could be true, could be just GW2 got the 69; bummer if so.. Tikka LeFem talk (talk) 23:22, 31 January 2025 (UTC)

- Must just be a mistake by that customer service rep, then. I find it odd that there's no mention of a limit at the Guild Wars store page; in fact, that entire storefront looks like it came from the dawn of the internet. — snograt

- I found that out in an annoying way, too. I bought yet another character slot, then my game told me I had reached the limit. So I did the obvious thing and bought a third account :) — snograt 08:58, 4 February 2025 (UTC)

(Reset Indent) I removed the 'request' seeing as the 28 appears to be the max number of character slots purchased, with no further confirmation from support indicating any such change; so, yeah, the previous mention in the page-talk was regarding GW2 only.
