This is some great work, I haven't had time to read all of it, but it is well developed thus far. You should join us on the GW2 NikiWiki and add your original ideas to the list, as well as update existing ideas with more elaboration or twists.

I look forward to discussing GW2 ideas with you in the future.--BahamutKaiser 19:54, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

The trade house idea is a very nice one but how bout they add a feature for searching for what you need like say a certain mod or a certain green. They just press a key to search for the item and they can put down how high the thing can cost. Thats just me because if they made it so you had to go around to every trade house just to find it, that would take quite a while. Search features are very great, and help speed up how fast you find something so thats my opinion. --Hellbringer 20:31, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

Definitely, if a trade system were to be implemented, some kind of search feature would be required to make it work. I think a combination of filters (so we may choose to see, for example, only green swords) together with a strong search feature (allowing searches based on name, on skin, on color, on mods, on inscriptions, on requirement and on base stats, and on a combination of all of those) would be ideal. You have some great ideas. I love the permenatly changing instanced areas. That would make alot of quests worth doing. Good work! 65.24.106.106 21:56, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

You are absolutely brilliant. I've only skipped around suggestions so far, but the trade house one is great. Calor - talk 22:11, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

A very well written peice Erasculo. You've inspired me to wirte on t some point. I agee with a fair few of your points, and dare say that Anet should cast they're eyes this way at some point. I look forward to joining in with you and BahamutKaiser sometime in th future. Hope this finds you well. --Mularc 05:19, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Instancing Variance[edit]

I like your idea about instances being different every time. GW1 has that, but to a nearly unnoticable degree (White Moa). Your idea reminded me of Diablo 1, where you played through the same 16 dungeons, but different quests would spawn for each character you made. I think instancing in GW2 will be limited to dungeons, but even changing those up to hinder farming and keeping players on their toes would be a good idea.

Anet really needs to take a look at this page, although by this time in development, they're past about half of your suggestions. ~Shard (talk) 22:38, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks : ) You're right - now is too late for the great majority of these suggestions. Most of the ideas here are old (I have written them more than one year ago), so now I'm waiting for more information about the game to make a new suggestions page. Hopefully said information will come when Arena Net still has time to listen to suggestions... Erasculio 13:35, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Excellent Work![edit]

When I stumbled upon this page, I only intended to skim a little bit of it and then go do something else. But, the more I read, the more I agreed with (most of) your points. Before I knew it, I couldn't stop reading! My favorite part was the section with the frozen village example. Spontaneous quests with different outcomes, such as your example, would definitely increase replayability and make an area new every time. I earnestly hope that A-Net gets a chance to read your suggestions as they would greatly enhance GW2. Great work; keep it coming! --Michael the Perfectionist User-Michael the Perfectionist Signature.gif 22:38, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks : ) Feel free to point what you didn't agree with, I like to know where people disagree with me on this. Erasculio 12:10, 21 June 2008 (UTC)

Nice article[edit]

I think this is very well written, and I agree with a lot of your ideas. Good work, —Rein Of Terror 18:31, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

Thanks : ) A friend took a look over the article so it would read better in English, and it's only thanks to him that it's so well written. I'm happy you liked the ideas there. Erasculio 22:17, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
Good thoughts in this article. I will keep an eye on it. Yseron - 90.27.5.59 22:29, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

I have a suggestion, too[edit]

Kick off all the programmers for GW2, put the project in the trash bin and spend the money on cancer research. I fear otherwise either GW2 will never see life (like StarCraft: Ghost) or will horribly fail (because they didn't listen to you) Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 00:10, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks : ) (and hey, a friend of mine works with cancer, we could give her the money : D). Erasculio 00:14, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
I hope that person works against cancer and not with. ;) Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 00:15, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Fantastic Article![edit]

Splendied, truly splendid. I like the idea of the changing instances and the use of skills for exploration and hope it can be implemented in some way. The trade house is definitely needed as well. I read your article word for word beginning to end and thoroughly enjoyed most of it *some parts eh :)* I know Linsey is working on the Live Team, but I might throw her to this page so she can show this to the GW2 team, amazing job :D --Malchior Devenholm 21:25, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
