how are you capturing the images for the various blessing like bonus icons? MafooUK 13:30, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Firefox
Nothing shits me more than when people say FireFox, or abbreviate it to FF. It's Firefox, even read the Mozilla page, they want you to abbreviate it to Fx if you are going to abbreviate it at all. Sorry, it's a pet hate. 59.100.121.11 08:43, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

how did you get such a big picture of the skill icon? This effect is only struck so it can also be seen in the Damage Monitor, and i wasn't able to enlarge the skill icons of this interface part. (also asked the same question here) I doubt that you simply enlarged the picture with a program like Photoshop, as the quality of the is too good for this...didn't you? —ZerphaThe Improver 13:07, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- Probs extracted from the .dat I would assume. - BeX 13:29, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
- you can filter all icons from GW.dat? :O How so? Is that the reason why all the icons have this black border? —ZerphaThe Improver 14:15, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
- ok, i found something about this here. downloaded already the corresponding programm. hope this works. Is on the .dat everything you ever encountered in guild wars? Well, i'll see...—ZerphaThe Improver 14:44, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- I've got the picture now. I thought first it would be an error that all these skills are that bright, but i suppose you all turn the transperent areas black. Thats the last problem so far...i don't know how to turn the trapsperent areas of this picture black. I've got Photoshop and Paint Net, maybe i can work this out... —ZerphaThe Improver 18:29, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- now i've got the file uploaded, but the skill template links to the .jpg file. couldn't save the .png as .jpg as it would have been stated as "corrupt" otherwise. do i now also need a file type convertition programm? —ZerphaThe Improver 18:37, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- getting the files in that manner results in a slightly darker and slightly lower quality image. -FireFox File:Firefoxav.png 19:13, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- ok, that means it would be better if i download a converting programm for these picture to maintain the quality? Well, some of the eotn blessings are really dark, like this. But is that because it was also changed from .png to .jpg or just because its already that dark after changing the transperent area to black? Because ingame, the background of this blessings is green. —ZerphaThe Improver 20:26, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- whoops, looks like i don't need such a programm, you can also save these files as .jpgs, also with option how good the quality should be (making the data size bigger). Unfortunatelly, I suppose you meant that they will lose the quality if doing this. —ZerphaThe Improver 20:28, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- I've found Mantra of Celerity in gw.dat. But I don't know how to add the gold border: Exactly which color should be used, how do you know how wide should be? the filling tool can't be used as the black areas go up to the circle. —ZerphaThe Improver 12:53, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

Nomination
Hi, you've been nominated for the upcoming bureaucrat election but it looks like you haven't actually been notified. Could you indicate your acceptance or declination or the nomination? -- ab.er.rant 15:34, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
- At this point I am going to have to decline. I simply am not as active within the wiki as I have been in years past and I feel that I cannot currently fulfill the needs of the community. -FireFox 21:57, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

What kind of answer do you want? I'm Shard, but I'm sure that's not what you wanted to know. ~Shard (talk) 00:45, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
