SoE member

Hey there could please use your user namespace for personal non generic user templates, while I am sure there might be many wiki members who are in the SoE guild please point them towards this code {{User:Indochine/SoE Member}} on their userpages. I have moved the template into your own userspace and decategorised it from the user templates category. You can move pages yourself, however controversial moves of pages should be discussed first with the community, make sure you tag the unwanted page with a {{delete}} template and cite the reason for deletion being the newly moved page. --Jamie 18:30, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

You have several characters over level 20? :P I'd love to figure out how to get to level 21. Hehehe j/k. But I'm on the same boat here, I've only ever finished each of the campaign once and all with my necro. And oh, just noticed something about your sig. The GWW:SIGN policy doesn't allow us to use icons meant for in-game stuff because clicking on a sig icon should bring you to a user's page. You just need to re-upload the ranger icon under an appropriate sig icon name and then redirect it back to your user page. :) -- ab.er.rant 08:29, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

hey there. i was just scrolling through recent changes and stumbled across your userpage. you might wanna take a look at the user page policy, according to which your page is too long. There's a mask for your page length here. You could e.g. create separate pages for your chars and only introduce your main char on your main page and link to the rest. The best thing to do would be to lend your friend the discs and give him the buddy key. You use the buddy key like any other key; open up the game and go into the "Create an account or add an access key" page and follow the instructions. You don't need to go on any websites, all account managment is done through the game. Your friend will then get 10 days/14 hours of free play. -- Indochine talk 16:59, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Here and there you also claim this to be a copyvio. Do you have anything to back that up? Sorry about forgetting to sign and thanks for the link. Following that thru the chain of provided links revealed the apparently true source of this image from the person who claimed to have made it as: "edited NCsoft's Guild Wars' Warrior concept art they have on their website, made a pretty decent icon to replace the default low res warrior helmet icon." Thus, ArenaNet would hold the copyright on the image. Now, the only question that remains is whether ArenaNet has a problem with the use of modified images on this wiki; and I for one hope not because there seem to be very many. -- Inspired to ____ 19:58, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Until Anet has a problem with the artist who originally posted it on Deviant Art, it's not for us to say it's an Anet owned image. The fact that the PvX wiki license and the GWW license are incompatible makes it unusable here.-- Wynthyst 20:14, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Copyvio

Not sure if this counts, but Regina's sig is of a Metroid from the Metroid series of games. Might wanna check in to that (; —Utopian ♫ 04:03, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

The metroid icon was made by User:AT who released it under GFDL; I don't think it violates anything. (although it may) --Shadowphoenix 04:28, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for pointing that out to me. I did a quick look and the icon is obviously based on this, but I think AT made the icon from scratch, i.e. not a derivative work....
