Thanks[edit]
For helping with User:Highlander. Drogo Boffin 00:53, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
- No problems. I saw you were moving the pages and images so I thought I'd take care of the 'formal' stuff before more pages/images were created/uploaded. ~Celestia 01:44, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
Test Krewe[edit]
"Because Fighterdoken speaks on behalf of the whole community and he's word is consensus?" <--Didn't you get the memo? :)
In any case, that discussion was quickly scalating beyond a "trying to find concensus" one, so just abandoning the ship and letting status quo remain seemed a good idea at that point.--Fighterdoken 23:08, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
- You have to put it into context so I don't seem like a douche ;) That was in reply to "however when Fighterdoken commented, and with what he commented, (I felt that) there was no more need for a consensus to be reached". Anyway I wasn't against the initial move, just the part where it was done within such a short time frame (to be honest...if someone just did it without asking on the talk page/tagging, no one would of cared really) ~Celestia 01:10, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
Arenanet image...[edit]
So I'm supposed to tag them as screenshots? I started out doing that, but this guy changed them to arenanet image: http://wiki.guildwars.com/index.php?title=File:Wand_Wrapping_render.jpg&action=history . So, what do I tag them? :P -- Chrono (talk) 17:04, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
- Shouldn't it be {{ArenaNet image|item render}}? — piper doesn't talk 17:25, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
- I was told (somewhere, not sure where), that the screenshot tags are used for the renders that the users make as they aren't actually renders or something. The Anet renders are those that Emily provides, etc. Not sure if that is correct, but that's how most of the user renders from the NPC models project are tagged. I'll try and get some confirmation. ~Celestia 08:31, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
- Here's a reply for the question. So yes, they are tagged as screenshots. ~Celestia 08:51, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

I can give you the dye charts I did if you want them[edit]
There isn't a lot of space for text still, but maybe you can work something out if you want to try it? They are kinda huge in size each, but I can't really help that. If some don't show actual images, they have that linked to image clicked thing which I totally didn't notice, it shouldn't affect it anyways. Previously Unsigned 22:52, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
- Here is a link: http://rapidshare.com/files/348455431/dye_charts_-_completed.rar.html Previously Unsigned 01:43, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- It's fine but thank you. If I was going to do them (time permitted) then I could just grab the armor sets off my characters, and I would do the sets that don't have a dye chart first. Thanks once again though. ~Celestia 06:13, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
Speaking of Dye Charts[edit]
Do you have any for Male Monk Primeval armor in black? Kaisha 23:17, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
- No, I only have what I uploaded, which isn't very much. Some male mesmer charts mostly (I'd haev more but I only have one Pve character). You can do a bunch by just creating pvp characters and dying those but since I don't do "real" black and white, it takes me forever. Previously Unsigned 00:19, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- Just take an image of each dyed part and layer them. That's what I do. Previously Unsigned 00:44, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- Not sure whether you were directing the comment at me or Previous, but I can get you a pic of it, if you want. If you tell me (or show me) what your monk's looks like [face, skin, height, etc.] (there's no character screenshots on your page), I'll get a picture of "your monk" wearing it. Not sure when I'll be able to get it up though, depends how much time I have spare. That way it's better to judge what your monk will look like in the set...Yuck, monk primeval... ~Celestia 06:13, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
- Lol I love that monk armor. I'd have that. And norn. Previously Unsigned 08:21, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Oops![edit]
Thanks for the revert, I actually missed the key word "it" when I canceled the previous person's notes. I took it to read as the crown didn't show :S 96.48.131.210 07:57, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

Just curious too, is their some kind of special hidden code in your posts that make your character spacing larger than other people? Hey (:[edit]
what font did you use? –alistic 00:00, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- Font: Bookman Old Style, Font style: Regular, Anti-aliasing: Crisp, Vertical Scale: 90% and Kerning: Metric (and sometimes adjusted manually)...Not the exact same as in game, but it'll pass. ~Celestia 05:42, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- Is it the same font you use for your user page? –alistic 06:04, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- Oh and what image editor are you using (I don't see vertical scale or kerning on GIMP) –alistic 06:07, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- No the font for my userpage is different. I'm not even sure what it is (on the PHD which I cannot find right now)- looks like Cooper Black for the headings and Constantia for the text but not sure without the file. And I'm using Photoshop CS3 Extended at the moment. ~Celestia 06:32, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
- Also kerning shouldn't really matter but the vertical height made it more in-game looking (the font was too tall). ~Celestia 06:33, 5 March 2010 (UTC)

Guild Wars Wiki:Talk pages[edit]
"Removal of talk page content - Users may not remove comments (wholly or partially) from any talk page, with the following exceptions: Removal of clear vandalism and spam. " - Reanimated X 06:59, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- While it may be spam it may be, but most likely not, a legitimate message for Ryuu. If Ryuu considers it spam, on his/her page, then remove it. It's like the wtf chain, that is all spam but are you removing that? It's not like some gibberbot, or a bot posting link to external websites. ~Celestia 07:03, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
- I spent an hour making that :< I did it to cheer Ryuu up--/ u /nendingfear File:User Unendingfear Avatar.png 02:00, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
- Well it looks like it's been reverted again. I'm not going to break policy to put it back so bleh. Personally I would of gone with the Piplup. ~Celestia 02:02, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
- Contrary to popular belief, the talk page on a wiki isn't a user's personal space where they can do whatever they want to do. Policy still applies there, and talk page content isn't owned by anyone except by the wiki. The wiki "is not a blog, webspace provider, or social networking site" (quoting from the wiki); and UF's edit qualified as unrelated content. There are TONS of other things on many people's user pages and talk pages that have unrelated content, but it is not nearly as intrusive as UF's edit. --Lania Elderfire 03:32, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed. I understand both sides, but it being "clear spam". It should be removed as well as other "clear spam". UF could have done it in a way to not have made it so bad. Kaisha 05:13, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

I'm more of a Dismantle/Pro-Shining Blade person. The White Mantle seem to have attacked and vandalised my page. Believe me, I'm trying as hard as I can to remove it. I am just hoping that the Shining Blade don't vandalise the vandalise (=P).
So yeh, pretty much, if you can create something abotu the dismantle to go over the obey, that'd be sweet, thanks. Take your time, too. I plan on leaving the Obey up for a while (a couple days at least). Cheers! ^_^ -- Lacky 12:59, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

- Hehe. ^_^ You don't have to worry about Vandalising for me/TSB, I will probably set up a new secret quest for pages thing like I did with my current Obey/WM one. XD Try to figure it out. =P -- Lacky 13:30, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

^That was according to this, no need for the sic. -- Lacky 14:30, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
- Well it appears like that in that image too. And yes there is a need for the sic. Notice there is no space between the sentences? ~Celestia 14:34, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yeh, I did notice that, so why not just take the spaces out? I'm not sure what the sic is for really, apart from something like it's there if it's unusual spelling or something...but this isn't spelling, just grammar. -- Lacky 14:39, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yes and that is why the [sic] is there. The text is meant to be copied verbatim, exactly as it appears in-game. The dialogue has those errors in it. The dialogue is written in the article, verbatim, and so has errors in it. Sic acknowledges that the passage has errors in it, because it is verbatim to the text that appears in game. ~Celestia 14:43, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
- Ahh I get you now...had to re-read that several times but I understand. =P Thanks for that. I will add them back in then (unless they already are, haven't checked yet). -- Lacky 17:23, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

question before I edit[edit]
Do you mind if I go through Guild Wars Wiki:Projects/Dye charts and slightly edit the tutorial/guidelines? I won't be adding anything big, I just want to maybe colorize the order of colors and switch the save method 1 and 2, since if somebody has Photoshop, they should be using SFW first (more flexible and with the preview). Also a quick note to turn off the convert to sRGB option since it's on by default. Like I said, mostly minor. Previously Unsigned 04:29, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, it looks like you haven't been here for 3 days, so I'll go ahead and do what I want anyways. It should be ok. Previously Unsigned 09:23, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

- Well it was a project page and you created it, plus I don't think guidelines or tutorials are probably the best to touch. I still don't see why we can't add Photoshop pictures. Will it really violate copyright? Previously Unsigned 13:47, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yes. Don't worry, you didn't go through the process of SS the steps only to have them deleted for copyvio ;) Anyway back off the grid. ~Celestia 13:50, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

Render :)[edit]
Can you render this please? :D A white drop shadow and a black background would be nice, but what ever you can do will be nice. Thanks! –alistic 14:10, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
- I'll get on it, sir. White drop shadow is very vague! How big?! How opaque?! How white?! ~Celestia 10:57, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
- RC Spam... Just uploaded several different versions. Which one is closest to what you wanted? ~Celestia 11:10, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
Thanks[edit]
As mentioned above, your mission maps are outstanding. Thanks for the work you put into them. Sardaukar 18:48, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you, kind sir! If you have any requests just drop me a line :) ~Celestia 01:29, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
- Excellent map for Mungri Magicbox route! How did you do that? Did you follow Mungri and then change the color of the dots on his (your) route? Very nice and much improved to also show route out of House zu Heltzer. Sjhshh 17:07, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
- Apologies, Sjhshh. Thanks! I must have missed this comment somehow. Sometimes I change the colour over the original dots but mainly I simply just layer the dots over a screenshot of the map. In the case of Mungri, I think I followed him and recoloured the dots. ~Celestia 10:57, 4 January 2011 (UTC)

Tagging unsigned comments[edit]
I do not know if you are aware of it or not, but there are more unsigned templates, specifically Template:Unsigned2. It allows much more than just the user name. 69.182.165.163 02:59, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
Air Wand[edit]
Hi, you uploaded a dye char for an Air Wand. I'd like to know where you got the wand, because the ones I've gotten so far can't be dyed. Tried prophs collector, EotN Cafter, EotN collector. None of them dyed (all blue). Maybe golds can dye? --Kristofferus 06:32, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
