Character Images

Your page looks great honestly, although, I don't like the fact you just removed the grenth image from your page. Hey, it's me again =) I was checking out the changes on your page and noticed that some of your info box images are a lot bigger than the others. You can, if you wanted to, resize the images used in those boxes to match the sizes of the others. Simple add |40px after the name of the image you are using. For example, see the differences in the two at the top. The left one is sized at 40px, the right is the normal image size. There isn't a 'policy' on sizes or anything, and you aren't doing anything wrong, I just figured you would like to know in case you didn't know how to do this. — Rappy 22:19, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

I believe Scobra told you this because you signed as just "Shadow" on Calor's RfA. If you read the link, you'll see that it says that if you sign with a shortened form of your username, you need to register that name so account mixups don't occur. Whether an attack is deserved or not is not in question - rather, the problem is that the attack is there. I think it would be very easy to just keep this in-game and off the wiki? Oh my, ok I see you are refering to Dorath most likely, my apoligies. If it takes up alot of RC space then I will cut back but I like to send these out to users that (from what I have saw in there history) have not been properly welcomed into GWW. LOL that and the fact that she's basically copied my user page in its entirety. Anyhoo I came here for a reason, Shadow I have nay issues with you using my templates and the like, as I myself borrowed and adapted my user page from the ever fabulous Lensor, one wee problem though my love, is that you've not actually copied your own version of the charecter table template, you're just instead directing it to mine, which is fine by me but it does mean that any changes I make to my template will greatly effect your user page which might be an issue in the future. As I've added to my user temaplate a treasure checklist, which is currently a work in progress but its now come up on your user page which you may or may not want to be there. Anyway my love if you need any help with constructing your user page just give me a shout and in the future, if you use something like the charecter templates of another user, could you inform them if your gonna direct to it from you're own user page, as it informs them that any change they make to their page will change yours too. Which will save you any issues with user page formatting in the future. It is also good wiki manners to give credit for user page layout and creation to those who are due it and I see no mention of that anywhere on your page or in your nav bar template or your user box template. Please cite those who's work you use and adapt, in this instance that would be Lensor, Thor79 and myself. EDIT: oh also just to let you know my dear that Phoenixs isn't a word. The True phoenix from the original egyptian mythology, was singular, thus a plural was never created in the first instance, however the accepted conventions of spelling through the conversion of latin into english would suggest that the plural should either simply be Phoenix or Phoenixes. Thanks for informing but I was already aware if u notice on my user page there is a warning thing on the top I am currently working out coding for my own templet but can't quite seem how to figure it out yet lol. I will add credit to my userpage until I figure this out. I was going to do this anyway but just havent got around to doing it yet XD. You see when I made the character pages I was a bit of a wiki noob so I just copied yours and rappys but now im trying to make my own (which isnt working to well XD) and I didnt give u credit because I didnt kno I had to but dont worry because I will now. And thanks for the English lesson lol. Anyway make character tables is a long process (well in my case anyway XD) so I was going to keep yours up until I finished mine. I will put credit for each of you on here so dont worry about that, I dont mind If u change the character tables it wouldn't bother me (I was slowly weeding urs out anyway, sorry but I found better ones :o) ). --Shadowphoenix

Fan Fiction

I enjoyed reading the different outposts you created in your fan fiction (e.g., Light Temple ), quite creative! :) But I fear having them categorized with official game categories (such as Category:All outposts, Category:Has collector, and Category:Spoilers ) may lead to confusion between what is fan fiction and what is actually game related. The location template could be copied to your user space (with credit to the original author), then adapted to fit your needs. Hey Shadow, I was just wondering about how you sign your comments. Do you enter the code in manually or do you enter in ~~~? If you wanted to enter in four tildes (~~~~) so it gets your image as well, go to your preferences link at the top of every page and enter this in the nickname box: [[User:Shadowphoenix|Shadowphoenix]] [[Image:User-Shadowphoenix Shadow Phoenix Signet.jpg|19px]]. I'm confused. I changed a name in an article to reflect the correct NPC name used in game & then received a long comment from you on my user discussion page about editing & copyrights & not copying articles directly from GuildWiki. I appreciate that someone saw my entry but I think maybe I'm being credited with more of the article content than I really contributed. I updated the NPC picture to one that showed it's name & changed the name in the only part of the article that I could figure out how to access to try to correct it. I would never plagiarize someone elses work or copy information or articles from another wiki & put my name on it. I'm sorry if I gave you that impression. I'm also not sure if there are other ways to leave messages for people, but it sure seems to make me look bad when the only message on my user discussion is telling me not to copy someone elses work when I contribute to the wiki.. Thank you for your concern & keep up the good work as a GW Official Wiki helper.

P.S. I'm also aware that I haven't formatted this correctly.. I don't know html & am not trying to learn it.. just wanted to reply to your message & correct any misunderstanding.

Oh no lol this does not have anything to do with your editing, if u read the About Me Section on my userpage, you will see that if you have been on the wiki for less than a month you will get one of those (or if you have less than 3 edits that are not guild edits, that is not mentioned). I apolgize that it is so long but I am currently working on it to make it shorter. You are not in trouble nor, have you done anything wrong. That is just to help people get a better sense of the wiki and how to use it. I apolgize if I confused you in anyway, the text and legnth will be shorten soon so it will look less intimadating lol. Oh and please make sure that you start a new comment and/or section at the bottom of a talk page.
