Broken Links...[edit]
Thanks for catching my mistake (on multiple pages) — silly me, I thought the quest to retrieve Gwen's Broken Flute (in pre) was called Gwen's Broken Flute. I forgot that pre-Gwen doesn't know that the flute is broken until your toon retrieves it for her. (I also appreciate your updating the GBF article to note the distinction.) - You're welcome. Also, I made a few screwups before that got sorted out 'cause I forgot about what goes on in presear :). --Star Weaver 22:22, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
Userpage templates[edit]
You got some nice templates out there... {{User:Star Weaver/T/CampaignProgress}} in particular looks quite clean (and it seems to work nicely on your example page too). Remember to add them to Category:User page templates if you want for others to use them :).--Fighterdoken 00:52, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, thanks ^_^. I'll probably do that when I'm actually satisfied with them. *perfectionsism!*. --Star Weaver 00:58, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
whoops[edit]
excuse me then, i never noticed that. :P —ZerphaThe Improver 16:21, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- Hey, not a problem, I've just spent what already seems like an undue amount of time in Fahranur. I think that's where the infobox shot on Istan came from :). Also, you're fast. ^_^ --Star Weaver 16:23, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- alright then. but well, who's talking about being fast here, i actually already wanted to leave the wiki for now and just checked my contribs before doing so :P —ZerphaThe Improver 16:43, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Now put that back![edit]
It's not a detail. It's a flat out contradiction. There is only one time when you can find Osric as a level 20 in pre-Searing. Go look! --mtew 19:09, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- He's not denying that you do, the Capt is still in the Nick article... but the anomoly that he only appears as level 20 once belongs on the Capt Osric page... MrPaladin talk 19:12, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- It is already on the Capt Osric page. The fact that Osric is NOT level 20 most of the time in pre-Searing was noted before and his name was deleted from the list, but was later restored. The anomaly should be noted and explained, otherwise the note will seem to be just plain wrong. --mtew 19:23, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- Put in wording that might better fit the circumstances. --Star Weaver 19:25, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- That really doesn't help. Osric's level is FUBAR. He's in the list as a result of an anomaly, or more likely a plain old BUG. Someone that actually checks to see if he's level 20 is going to think the note is wrong unless there is an explanation of what is going on... --mtew 20:40, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- Why would people be taking Nicholas's page as the last word on Osric? I imagine if anyone was even remotely confused or interested in Osric they'd look at Osric's page. "And one incranation of Osric" might work, but putting a big anomaly note in multiple unrelated places isn't something that can be done, or anomalies will start spilling over all over, eh? --Star Weaver 20:45, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- Not the last word. The first word. The information appears to be wrong if you check it out. Since it is not (quite) wrong, it should be explained. And, yes, anomalies do need to be explained where they occur. --mtew 20:53, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- How about not mentioning osric until this junk is sorted out. Talk:Nicholas Sandford#Osric in trivia. Have fun. --Star Weaver 04:49, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

If you don't understand...[edit]
...don't revert. Or do you serious claim that party=team? Backsword 19:51, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- Are you saying that in AB it's a team made of three parties? Or a party made of teams? I would tend to say "Each side has three teams". OTOH, Alliance battle uses team to mean both the units of four people and the units of twelve, so . . . I don't know. I do know that "party", "group", and "team" are interchangable in the vast majority of situations. --Star Weaver 20:01, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- AB is the only thing that breaks the mold. In every other circumstance, party = group = team. Transitive property applies. :) — Jon Lupen 20:03, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- Presnt a screamshot of a pet getting a party member only buff (as that's displayed in the interface). Or perhaps ... Backsword 20:07, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- If minnions, pets, spirts and so on are party members in your version of the game, you need to send in a bug report. Backsword 20:05, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- I doubt you would find more than a tiny handful of players who make a distinction between team, group, or party, and I further believe you would find that people would disagree that minions, pets, and spirits are part of a team by general usage of the word, as people use it to refer to the actual players. Gaile's page[edit]
I think I'm supposed to tell you if I edit one of your talk page submissions (I fixed your link to command line arguments on Gaile's page). If not, just ignore this message! Also, if I'm not supposed to do that at all, let me know (and I'm sorry). Thanks! Freedom Bound 19:06, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, I saw that and smaked my forehead; I thought I previewed it but I guess not. Thought about leaving you a note saying thanks, but didn't get around to it, cause ZZZ and things. --Star Weaver 19:29, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
