[edit] Life Infusion's Issue -- 21:02, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- Issue
- 60 recharge is way too long for a solely defensive skill (this has no speed buff). Compare this to Natural Stride and Dark escape which allow avoiding damage altogether by getting away.
- Suggestion
- Reduce recharge to 30 (~1/3 uptime). I'd imagine it would make it more useful as protection from elemental damage.
- Reduce elemental armor at the bottom end to make it roughly 25...40...60 (+34...55...60 armor means even at low rank it has immense strength) , since it is unlikely someone will be running higher than 12 wilderness survival anyway
- Make it block only projectile attacks
- "ends when hexed" (to fit with wilderness survival theme) [if it sees abuse]
- Increase to 10 energy so it is more ranger-oriented [if it sees abuse on nonrangers, maybe]
PvE suggestion:
- Make Dryders use it so that Barrage+ elemental damage are not as viable everywhere
[edit] Recharge time is too long
- Issue
- Recharge makes this obsolete.
- Suggestion
- Increase energy to 15, reduce recharge to 20. Reduce elemental armor buff slightly. This stance should end if you use a skill on another ally.

- Suggestion
- Half duration, make recharge 15. Good anti spike for monks, along w/ Natural Stride. Maybe a bit OPed.

- Suggestion
- Make recharge 30. Slightly lower duration. Ends if you cast a spell.

- Solution
- 10
¾
30
- "Elite Stance. For 5...10...11 seconds, you run 25-33% faster and have +34...55...60 armor against elemental damage."
[edit] Recharge of 60
- Issue
- As above, nasty recharge (twice that of Lightning Reflexes which gives you a better secondary effect - rangers already have hig elemental armour anyway.
- Suggestion
- Slash the recharge to 30 or even 20. Then maybe decrease armour bonus and block chance a bit and/or add a bit of a speed boost or whatever. A la:
- This would make it a good skill to use for kiting away from melee foes as well as blocking them while also giving you a massive armour bonus against elemental damage, making it an all-around good defence skill, but crucially it no longer suffers from the horrendous recharge. The armour bonus and block chance have been decreased a bit to prevent grief for people trying to harm someone using this, though (especially since it could be used to chase foes too - I mean, nobody wants more SWay abuse as a sorta non-elite Escape with an armour bonus).
