- Assault the Stronghold and free the Ebon Vanguard captives from Hierophant Burntsoul.
- *BONUS* Complete the mission in Hard Mode.
- See Zehnchu [Zaishen Challenge] for your reward.

- 5,000 Experience
- 1,000 Gold
- 2,500 Vanguard reputation points
- Complete the Base Objective for 40 Zaishen Copper Coins.
- Complete the *BONUS* Objective for an additional 100 Zaishen Copper Coins.

- "The Charr hierophant has captured Ebon Vanguard soldiers. Seek Roan Fierceheart to partake in any assault on the stronghold. We are the fierce."
- Accept: "I can do that!"
- Decline: "No, I'm way too busy today."
- When asked about quest: "The battle rages on! All able-bodied heroes should hasten to defend those bravely protecting Tyria."
