To Paragons or those without a secondary profession:

"Those corsairs are still threatening Istan. Don't waste my time. I've got things to do!"

Tell me about shouts.

"Shouts are skills that take effect instantly and affect all allies or enemies within earshot. Earshot is roughly equal to the "danger zone" represented by the white circle on your compass.

Can you teach me some Paragon skills?

Farisah teaches you the skills Anthem of Flame and Signet of Aggression.
