Cripple and bleed is not for eles ... Raemon 18:02, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Why is the only appropriate response - We already do snares and health degeneration, and I do think getting struck by dagger made of stone will bleed you a little. WUBLEAR

I don't see a point here.. I love elementalist. They're one of my favorite professions. I've never had a problem with energy management even with these skills in my build (yes.. I know that's not the ponit of your idea). As to low damage, For a skill that's spammable with no recharge I think it's fine like it is. I've used in most of my fire builds and it's especially useful to activate Mark of Rodgort. (Yes, Lava Arrows are better but not everyone has the full series.) Hi. Pls respond when you realize why you've been quite so silly with that post. NuVII User NuclearVII signature 3.jpg 11:44, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
Magic's response was reasonable. This skill doesn't need a buff. It already does decent single-target DPS compared to other single-target elementalist spells. The difference is that these spells deal thier damage all at once and you can use other spells while they are recharging. That being said, there is no reason to encourage pressing 111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111 13:35, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

Missing the point[edit]

These spamable skills seem to do much more than just an admittedly lame attack, they fill in the blanks. An Ele build requires that you cast spells to heal yourself. These skills can be used to regenerate while fighting, and to finish off the dying foes that were unfortunate enough to get under your spell-range. I think they are exactly as they should be.

This is only true when you encounter pressure builds without Backfire-like hexes, energy denial, or other ways to punish spell spamming, which is very unlikely to happen. Against spike builds, gaining 20 energy per 2 seconds is not going to help you, which leaves just PvE to use this skill in. However, if you are capable of using your brain, chances are small that you are going to be attacked as an elementalist, so all you did was wasting your skillslot that you could have used for something impactful like Shell Shock. Thanks for the tip. I'm actually pretty bad in PvP. So for PvE I've definitely found it helpful.Ys Mist 08:55, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
