Talk:Blindfold

Would have been cool if it granted immunity to blindness :P --81.215.13.145 07:56, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
It would make more sense if it gave you permanent Blindness.
Yeah, same thing with Ritualists^^ —Zerpha

[edit] Cannot be dyed
Outch :( This purple coloring does not clip well to many armors...I think this would be alot more famous if it could. —Zerpha

- Agreed. Why does it have a purple tint if it can't be dyed?

- Not to mention all the other hard to acquire headgears can be dyed, in real terms it'll set you back at least 50k a blindfold, and it's a nasty purple colour. I'm hoping ArenaNet will give us dyable skins in the near future. --85.62.18.3 01:37, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- Meh, I just dye my armour a complimentary colour. Orange and purple and blue makes the base for a tasteful purple, I've found. ;) --Mme. Donelle 14:21, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Possible allusion to Matrix Revolutions
Neo wore an almost identical purple blindfold at the end of the Matrix series. Even the knot in the back, in game, looks very close to the one in the movie. Skallagrimson 17:39, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- I feel blindfolds is really awesomely common, and it sounds weird to be a reference to something like that. But, let's ask Emily the trivia confirmer. :) - anja

- Obiously it's a reference to Kormir. Duh! :P — Galil

- I still don't agree. Just because Kormir has a blindfold? Though, I suppose you could say the same about my theory as well. :P Skallagrimson 20:53, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
- I think that was his Socratic point. -

- You know, having seen the number of people, myself included, who dye their armour purple to match the blindfold, I'm starting to wonder if it isn't a reference to anything so much as a conspiriacy on Gaile's part to make everyone wear purple armour. o_o --Mme. Donelle 21:20, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- Best theory yet tbh, lol - BeX

- I'm not asking for it to be like black or white.. But atleast grey! Ty.

- yall are overreacting; it's not even a bright purple that might be a problem. As is, it's too dark to even be considered 'purple'; it's more indigo or violet imo. --

[edit] ummm
can we remove the note "Does not cause the blind condition" ? i mean, C'mon folks.....would ANYONE really believe that to be true? Vanessa 15:12, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
Fix'd look at it now :) http://wiki.guildwars.com/index.php?title=Blindfold&oldid=896983
[edit] Someone screwed up the Notes
Anyone know how to report that someone screwed up a part of this Wiki Page? I am pretty sure that Blindfolds don't have to do anything with how "Wiki is serious business. So is the internets"
- If there's trouble with a vandal, the admin noticeboard is a good place to report. I've reverted the notes and blocked the IP now though :) - anja

- The whole note on blindfolds having nothing to do with the Blind condition seems to be a little excessive.--Zakek Xek talk 17:26, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Clipping problem. :/
So i got one for my paragon, and its got a really big cliping problem. Is there any chance of it getting fixed at all? Mason717 05:41, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Blind Note
Seriously remove the stupid note about haveing nothing to do with the blind condition. No armor in the game has anything to do with any condition. That note is redundant and moronic. Sorry but annoys the crap out of me every time I visit this page. 75.136.137.198 10:19, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- be bold and remove it yourself. --
Mafaraxas 00:50, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
- HALP MEH I'm blind! halp me....... Oh wait it's just a blind fold and nothing to do with actually being blind... omg T1Cybernetic 09:34, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
