needs buff, WoH and glimmer > healing light --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:66.61.34.85 .

If glimmer didn't have 1/4 cast it would be trash. 1 cooldown doesn't make a skill good if your energy regen limits you to one 5 energy spell every 3.75 seconds. Glimmer only beats this by a few HP points in terms of heal power. It's just that healing prayers needs more useful fast recharging enchantments besides the so-so vigorous spirit. --Life Infusion «T» 04:14, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
No, this sucks. He is right. It is a bad elite. Unexist 18:44, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
Excellent analysis. Of course, I heard that in some situations, there are two monks, and sometimes one of them casts enchants and the other casts heals. This gives that combo some synergy, and you can still cast something like Patient Spirit as a fast recharge heal while waiting for this to recharge, and it helps with your energy a bit. But alas, nobody has seen this mythical enchant casting monk, so I fear this spell only works with Vigorous Spirit which, as previously stated, is most definitely only so-so. I also heard that some classes actually enchant themselves, but that is just hear-say. I fear this skill shall never see the light of day. Elder Angelus 18:43, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
If it was buffed to even just 30hp more or so it might start to see some play. Where its at however it just heals for an amount that is to small to be worth the time it takes to cast.141.233.19.106
I don't even think thats the problem. I think the biggest concern for my play style with this eltie is the cast time. 1/2 or even 3/4th second would put this skill on my bar much more often. And heaven forbid a monk uses patient spirit with this elite...FleshAndFaith 19:51, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

eh I agree the amount of heal needs to be buffed. eth light, whisper, dwayna's kiss, words of comfort, and pretty much all other heals can easily hit 100... and they are not elite. true this gains energy, but eh....Materia user 02:47, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

Make it heal for less, make it not elite and this wouldn't be a bad spell. Now, I agree, it sucks.--SunJinyu 22:51, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

This would be a pretty good solution actually. The only other solution I can think of is buffing the energy return but letting monks last forever with a practically free heal would suck (>implying that's not the case already). Of course, you could make the recharge longer in addition to buffing the energy return but then you have a direct heal that's elite and it would only be available every several seconds which would be stupid. Heal Spike with patient spirit[edit]

Title says it all. First put on Patient, then heal with this. Creates a nice heal spike. --Treasure Boy I love this skill :D Talk 15:25, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

You know what else creates a nice heal spike? Word of Healing. Costs less too. 72.81.247.139 21:40, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
You know what a great way to never have to think about a build ever is? Only use WoH. FleshAndFaith 04:13, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
A pity that Dwayna's Kiss with Healer's Boon is a better healing spike. Almost always. Noctarch 23:00, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
No this is a good skill only the 1sec activation makes it useless (so interruptible its lols) it needs to be 1/4 activation for the same reason weilder's boon is 1/4sec activation then it would be a skill to rival woh or wtv...also make it 4 energy at 14 healing prayers...especially with the esurge meta maybe we could see some monks actually live for more than 30secs

Soothing Memories[edit]

...outshines this in every way, shape and form.--Lancy1214 20:25, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

Totaly. It REALLY needs a buff... 24.8.116.77 22:42, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

Not mentioning that you can control wether u have a bundle item or not. Having to cast an enchant on a person first if they dont have one is micro management and it ends up costing time and energy. Make this heal and enchant a person with +1-3 regen for 5sec. That way it can sustain itself.--Justice 00:58, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

might work on a bonder though. everyone got an enchantment, and you heal for +- 90 health for 2 energy. otherwise, i see no use. 80.126.47.201 18:40, 18 January 2009 (UTC) yeah...Soothing Memories is completely superior to this...I was surprised they didn't buff it during the August update...75.72.55.118 21:03, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Also, people seem to be forgetting that a monk will throw into the mix some 30-40 additional healing from Divine Favour. It's slightly less "controllable" than soothing memories, in the energy return condition, but being a monk spell has its advantages. Granted it's not quite as much healing power you'd expect from an elite, but it's cheap, what is usually a thing to make a monk happy, given their usual energy management issues - VileLasagna 23:37, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Bonder Heaven[edit]

I know I know...Bonding = Nub. But with this it doesn't seem too bad to bond anymore. Than 02:03, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Except you need high divine favor for Blessed Signet, so a three-way attribute split would be rather bad. User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 23:38, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
You can still get 10/10/11 with three attributes, so that by itself is not a problem. I'm more worried about what you're going to do about energy, because Blessed Signet will not really solve problems. You're gonna end up needing some smiting or some inspiration to help you with that, and then things start getting complicated - VileLasagna 23:52, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
A dedicated bonder has been meta in Urgoz for ages... You can keep Life Barrier on the entire party plus a couple Life Bonds easily on just Blessed Signet. Well, with a BiP. Without one you can keep Life Barrier up on about half the party (of 12) plus Life Bond on the tank. Point is you shouldn't be healing other people if you're bonding. Now, if you're saying two people, one bonder one with this, then yes. This is a pretty cool elite for the healer to have (assuming its nm, you're not somewhere elite, and you're that tired of UA/HB/WoH :P). Lillium 09:45, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Elite Spell. Heal target ally for 40...88...100 Health. You gain 1...4...5 Energy.[edit]

and this would still be worse than WoH (at least in PvP) 87.174.125.64 12:37, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

And Pve. UA and HB make too much of a joke out of other healing elites (WoH is the only real exception, although only if ench removal is heavy WoH wins out), especially this one. Healing burst has seen alot of love lately, maybe this will follow. 114.77.98.223 06:16, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
Healer's Covenant also works if you're going through domain of secrets ( I think... the one with 140% energy costs...AND QZ) and I do like to run glimmer. But none of those work on heroes for a start, and yeah, UA and HB just dominate healing bars completely. Nevertheless, Healing Light NEEDS a buff. It's worse than everything right now... A slash in it's recharge would already begin to make things interesting but the way it is... useless - VileLasagna 10:23, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
