Armor levels[edit]

The note says that

  • All Stone guardians except for Stone Crushers have 40 additional armor against all types of damage except cold and blunt. Stone Crushers are still weak to cold and blunt damage, however.

but when I checked the Stone Crusher page they appear to have that same additional armor, am I missing something or is there a mistake somewhere? -- User Kirbman sig.png Kirbman 20:25, 15 June 2011 (UTC)

Stone Crushers have an additional 20 armor against elemental sources, and normal physical armor. See also. Manifold User Manifold Neptune.jpg 22:18, 15 June 2011 (UTC)

Affiliation, creature type, or neither?[edit]

This article denotes "stone guardian" as an affiliation, with the creature type being elemental (and the elemental page follows suit). However, the individual NPC pages denote the creature type to be "stone guardian" and the affiliation to be the generic hostile affiliation (dubbed "wildlife" by the wiki). I do not think there is a possible way to determine which is the case, however I find it extremely unlikely that the Temple Guardians will be of the same mechanical affiliation as the echovald versions. That said, I think there's two likely possibilities:

  1. This is a creature type and the individual pages are correct while this is wrong.
  2. "Stone guardian" simply doesn't exist and the creature type is "elemental" (or "null" - that is, without a creature type) and the affiliation is the wildlife of the given region.

I'm tempted to argue that the latter is more likely, and if there's no opposition I'd like to reorganize the pages in accordance to such. Konig/talk 06:59, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

Agreed, always considered these guys as Elementals (Constucts). Lore-wise, the Temple's are likely affiliated with Sai Ling Order, and Stone dudes with Kurzick; but no way to confirm. --Falconeye 04:23, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
Since they attack Kurzicks, that's not the case mechanically and I doubt there is a Said Ling Order affiliation in mechanics, just as there doesn't seem to be Constructs in mechanics. Konig/talk 04:39, 20 November 2011 (UTC)

Although it is a bit speculative, I decided that, for consistency within the wiki's sake, "stone guardian" should be redirect to Elemental, and the creatures' affiliation be treated as the wildlife of a given region (however, the Echovald ones of these very well may be their own affiliation). Given there's no real way to test it, it is better to go with a consistent method rather than the current mess it is. Konig/talk 10:32, 25 March 2012 (UTC)
