[edit] Cutscene

This has by far the best cutscene I've seen in a looong time -elviondale (tahlk) 07:09, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

Slow Mo cutscene was awesome to watch, usually skip cutscenes but that was just amazing KaliCanaan 11:23, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
KALI FTW :D--Agracul 22:37, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
That mission is SO 300. Especially the cutscene. - (snō hwīt tăn) [sic] 12:47, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
Definitely needs more black guys getting kicked into bottomlsss pits at the end though. We already have the "For Elona!" shout :p -Auron 12:54, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
Definitely yeah, damn, i love that movie, and now i saw those scene's again, in GW Rhydeble 15:32, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
Shieldedge to the face? Couldn't be more obvious. I wonder when they added this to the engine. Wouldn't mind seeing more of it. Backsword 15:39, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

Man, I loved that cutscene, anyone has it on Youtube already? :D Minus The Great
You mean this? --65.93.164.26 19:20, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
I posted these screenies of the cutscene to GWG already, but I'll add them here too in case anyone likes to see 'em in 1600x1200 resolution. Pic1, pic2, pic3. -Taala 15:47, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
It's so h@x though... he didn't even have "Shield Bash" on his bar! D= Curin Derwin 19:37, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

HOW IN THE NAME OF GOD do you get "FOR ELONA" which almost EVERY movie has some dude screaming FOR (insert nation here) in it i mean "FOR ELONA" to "this is sparta" how. and as for the shield to the face again multiple movies have that in them--70.251.151.87 03:55, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

How? In the name of God of course. Syntheticfibers 23:17, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] infobox conformity

the 4 bonus mission pack articles use different infoboxes and stubs, but this one characterizes it the best. it uses the quest stub but a mission infobox. anyone disagree w/ changing them all to missions since the entire package is called bonus MISSION pack? --VVong|BA 20:20, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

I think this article (as well as The Rise of the White Mantle and The Tengu Accords) should be changed to use the mission infobox instead. Discussion also available on Guild Wars Wiki:Formatting/Missions. One reason I haven't seen mentioned elsewhere is that the mission infobox provides automatic inclusion in Category:Bonus Mission Pack missions. Finally, the mission infobox template need to acknowledge type = Mini-mission correctly (ie, link to Mini-mission instead of Mini-mission_Mission). -- Totte 09:35, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Strategic viewpoints

I'm missing one of the strategic viewpoints for Turai's mission actually, did someone make a list of them? Once I found them all, I'll probably put up a map with the different points on it.Sekoria 10:22, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

I've done this twice and I'm also missing one each time. If you can find it, that'd be great. Sora267 20:16, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
Most of them should be easy, so my guess is that the one you are missing is the one where the three bridges are. Clear all bridges and you should find it. Backsword 20:27, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
Well, I already found this one (near a little rocky outcrop above the river) but I'm still missing one. Weird.Sekoria 09:38, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
I found all 5 points. 2 are near the ravine, 1 is right after the most-defended of the 3 bridges, 1 is right after the camp... and I forget the last one sry. But each time I killed all the guards that spawned, and I didn't get the slayer bonus. Any ideas? Alaris 18:28, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
The slayer bonus only appears as you complete the quest. Not when a group is killed. So you may well have gotten it without noting as there is only a split section to see it before the cinematic starts.Backsword 11:44, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Then I would have seen it when back in town. I had to redo it, and made sure to backtrack where the spawns occurred. In the end, I think I missed a group at the corsair camp. I got it now. Thx. Alaris 15:26, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

Of course it does EVERYTHIGN HAS something form that stupid and racist 300 movie, god you people are obsesed wioth it --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:70.247.167.229 (talk).

[edit] Weapons

I switched my weapons before entering, when it was counting down. When I appeared, I immediately died. So no exploiting THAT. :( --Gah Eat my uber regen. 18:56, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

yeah, i think we've documented that somewhere. Backsword 09:10, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Won't work on my Computer

I have a basic dell extreme card and entering turai's story shuts down guild wars --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:74.34.198.249 (talk).

You probably don't meet the system requirements. You could try asking for help on Talk:Running the game, or on a fansite forum. -- Image:User Gordon Ecker sig.png Gordon Ecker (talk) 23:26, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Weapon stats

"Adding mods to Turai's Sword and Turai's Shield does not affect your stats while you are in the mission." I say OTHERWISE. I had put on a vampiric Turai's Sword of fortitude. Yes, the fortitude did NOT work, >>BUT<< the vampiric did take effect. During the mission, I was under the effects of constant 1 health degeneration. I just wanted to tell you guys. --Warnlord 01:24, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

I got the Zealous mod working in-mission too. This note needs to be clarified once we catalog what takes effect and what doesn't. My theory: All mods that do not adjust your stats take effect. Just like the note tells us, "weapon mods do not affect yours stats".Kyubiko 05:19, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
