I am mostly interested in PvE, but I occasionally PvP as well, in Heroes' Ascent. Most of my accomplishments leading to KOABD were done with henchs & heroes, as I prefer the control and reliability they give. Moreover, the family life provides many interruptions, and I'd rather not risk having to leave friends during a difficult time. I mostly enjoy being in an active Guild to share strategies, chat, and occasionally help each other. I also enjoy roleplaying and cooperative playing. The goal of gathering titles is to unlock as many goodies in GW:EN to use in GW2, but also to push my limits as a player.

I got bored of FPS's. That's when I decided to try out the MMO scene. I play mostly PvE, but I played a lot of PvP in AvP & Descent 2.

[edit] MMO philosophy

I love the RPG fantasy style, but hate the grind. Specifically, I don't like being forced to repeatedly kill low level monsters just to access higher-level content, and I find it annoying having to restart a character just to redistribute his attribute points or skills. Games should be about fun and abilities, not time spent playing.

GW seemed to fit into my philosophy of what games should be about, and so I tried it with some hesitation. Turns out that they really nailed what I was looking for, and I have pretty much lost my interest in other games since. I started with Factions just before the Nightfall release, and got the other titles since. I am planning on getting GW2.

I tried the beta for LOTRo and WoW, and while I did enjoy WoW, I much prefer GW on just about every design decision they made differently. GW2 sounds promising in adding in the few extra bits missing in GW.
