[edit] Sort order attributes

I would like to suggest changing the sorting order of not-existing attributes. Currently a non-displayable "a" is used for sorting order, but I want to suggest to use "Z". This would sort the table on attributes similarly as it would ingame. See here for the tiny modification to {{Skill table}} and here for the implementation of it. -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 11:20, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

Except that sunspear and allegiance rank should be at the bottom, it's like in game, which is good. I support this change :) - anja talk 11:24, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
I added this change (along with various other modifications). --Rezyk 00:05, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Energy

What would be the best way to get rid of this? It's for List of signets. Backsword 11:24, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

I think you've already found it. It should be something like this:
{{Skill table
| category = Signets
| cost header = }}
(I.e. pass an empty value to "cost header".) -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 12:45, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I just don't like the extra spacing. Backsword 12:47, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
I see what you mean. At the moment, the {{Skill table}} creates an empty cell if there isn't an 'extra cost header' or if 'cost header=' (or any of the other 'default' column headers) is set. The way around it, is to make the if-statement NOT create the extra cell/column. But I'm not 100% sure this is possible, I'll have a look. -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 15:42, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Default sorting order

Would it be possible for this template to allow a default sorting priority instead of always sorting by skill name? -- Gordon Ecker 07:28, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

The template doesn't sort at all, that order just happens becuase is uses categories and skills appear in that order there. The sorting is done by the sortable class for tables. Backsword 07:39, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
Too bad, being able to set a default sort order would be useful for the elite skill lists, the profession-specific lists are currently split up into separate tables for each attribute. -- Gordon Ecker 06:09, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
