I've been a solo RPG fan (and a computer addict) for decades (Eye of the Beholder series, Baldur's Gate series, Neverwinter Nights, etc), though I never really got into MMORPGs, mainly due to the monthly costs and my (often) severe lack of time. That is, until I read about Guild Wars, which offered both great options for solo players (without having to be scared of angering your team mates when you have to leave in a hurry), and a complete lack of monthly fees. So I started by purchasing the Guild Wars (Prophecies) Special Edition, and I've been addicted ever since. My play schedule is still very irregular, though... sometimes I don't get the chance to play for weeks, and sometimes I play several days (nights) in a row. So most of the time, my team will consist of heroes and henchmen, though I may well help out a less experienced player in need (if time permits).
I play almost exclusively PvE, and although I've been playing GW for a few years now, I never felt the need to try PvP or even to join any guild.
