Okay, if you're moving a pawn, then it's nothing but where you moved to. If you're moving anything else besides a pawn, then you put the first letter of it (Knight = N though). "x" represents killed. LOL actually its rather balanced at the moment. Our play styles are quite different. He seems to like to open his offensive force up early but then play them defensively which gives him the fluidity to protect his king and yet attack when an opening is available. I however opt for concentrating on a few of my most powerful pieces and using them to outflank his defense, while keeping my weaker pieces in defence if needed to help the king. All in all we're both playing quite a balanced match with no one really being really defensive or offensive, the next 8 moves or so will tell us alot about each of our play styles as with the board how it is now, it should start to become alot more interesting, as at the moment my king is vulnerable to attack due to taking the stronger pieces away from defense, however on the flip side those same pieces of mine are increasingly putting pressure on his king and keeping alot of his offensive force locked in defense. -- Salome 15:57, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Yeh I was playing til 6am this morning. It started out quite evenly balanced but due to us being evenly matched the end game became quite defensive and has now settled into chasing each other round the board. Ultimately though I think to win, Sonic needs to get a pawn to the other side of the board but then he's threw me a fair few curves in this match so I'm not banking on anything.
